What is the Adidas V23749

I received a pair of Adidas V23749 as replacement under the outsole warranty.

I actually returned two pair:
Barricade 7.0, size 8.0;
Barricade 8, size 8.5.

They provided:
Barricade V Classic, size 8.5;
adipower Barricade (V23749), size 8.5.

Unfortunately, I'd asked for size 9.0 for my growing son. These won't work. And I'm concerned they gave me lesser shoes rather than equal or better (as required by policy). I'm awaiting a call-back from Adidas.

So, what model shoe is the V23749?

Well they aren't obligated to change the size for u but yeah that's a new one. Ur making me wonder if should even claim my warranty in January or is it going to be a water of 20 dollars.

Edit: I looked it up. Guess unshould Google things before posting. Appears to be the 7's. I forgot that they originally just called it adipower barricades when they first came out.

Hmmm...
I Googled and couldn't find anything. If that's a 7, I guess I don't have a beef on the model they replaced one with. Just size.
However, that means they replaced an 8 with a V Classic. Not cool. And wrong size.

If they're not willing to replace with next larger, they warranty is useless for growing tennis players.

I spoke with Adidas.

The subject shoe is a Barricade 7, but is not labeled as such. So that replacement is okay.

The V Classic--I'm assured--is an upgraded version of an old favorite and is the best replacement option available.

Two different offices at Adidas process returns. The office that receives shoes inputs data. Then another office (for which I have a number and called) processes the replacements from the stock on hand. Sharon had helped me previously when I was too ignorant to request the correct size. She explained the intake office hadn't noticed my size request. She's already sent me an RMA and prepaid shipping to return the shoes I received, and says she's sending out the correct size.

That must mean Adidas has stopped making the 8 and 8+. Too bad you had to go back and forth with them on the size, but in the end I think you ended up with better shoes.
