I just received the Kimony Quake Buster and I thought they would be huge but to my surprise they are a bit smaller than the Yonex and purple Luxilon. Its also the softest material out of the three. Will test it soon so I hope it feels good because it looks quite nice on my racquet, it reminds me of soft rubbers of rubber band and rubber grommets from hardware stores.

Hey, since my first tennis practise I have been using a dampener. I can say that I have tried plenty of them surely.
For me, rubber bands have a much better feel of the ball, for me they have a "natural" feel. There is a video tutorial on youtube called "how to tie a rubber band" from which I learned how to tie it. It's not that hard, but if you want a perfect tied one you will need to practice a bit

    hi

maybe it is better because of weight!

    Less than 1gram??!!

The feeling is better, less vibration ?

I prefer the ones that stretch all of the strings, I'm using a head one and works great

My two favorites are the little pill looking dampener from Prince & the new dampener from Yonex. They both look cool, stay on nice and tight, and not overly dampening like the worm ones.

    hi

what is the problem of over dampening?

To much vibrations absorption is not good?

    regards

Hi. When using the warm dampeners (*for me), it felt like it over dampened and made the racket feel dull and boardy. I hate the ping sound and love the thwack sound the dampener helps to create,. It felt like I was hitting with a frying pan and just couldn't feel anything with the warm dampeners.

It was the one from Gamma. I think it's called Shockbuster.

To install one superior and one inferior is allowed?

    Is it better?

    regards

It pains me to use the Tourna Sampras dampeners (as a lifelong Agassi fan), but like it best of all despite trying to use the #64 rubber band... Might try the purple Luxilon one.
