What is the best serving 18x20 racquet?

I have a Wilson Six One K Factor 18x20 and it is great for everything except serving.

It got me thinking.

What are some of the best 18x20 racquets for serving?

Thanks!!

Of all time, has to be the 6.1 95. But in more modern terms, the Speed Pro hits a nice serve but the Yonex 97HD has an oomph on the serve that few can compete with.

Thank you for your replies.

I used to play with the RF97, BLX Six One 95 16x18, and Pro Staff 90 and hit bombs with all with no problem.

Both last year and this year I've had trouble hitting a high percentage of first serves with the 18x20 K Factor. Balance? I don't know why. That racket is money though with everything else.

Could be the swingweight. The k factor had the highest SW of all the 6.1 95 models and the 18x20 only adds more weight to the head. From my memory, it was noticeably clumsy compared to every other 6.1 95. Just didnt swing the same even considering the higher sw

I don't really know what constitutes a "good serving racket", but the ProKennex 7G seemed to work well for me.

Yes. I will try to add weight to the handle and see what happens. I will also change strings from Triax 17 to maybe Confidential 18 or gut or a hybrid at a lower tension to open up the racket more. This morning I used the RF97 and served fine. With the 6.1, I would hit the top of the net a lot.
My son used my 6.1 95 this morning and just served ok, nothing great.

Best flat serves I ever hit were with the 6.1 95
Nuclear warheads with GPS control

The noise it made was just fantastic

Probably some of my ****tiest kick serves were with that frame too, though

For me, I serve better with midsize frames like the Prestige Mid. As someone mentioned, the 93P is a great racket for serving. I also find the G360+ Prestige MP a real accurate serving frame.

Anyone have experience with the 360+ Speed Pro?
It's similar to the Pure Strike 18x20 IMO, except with a bigger, more forgiving sweetspot. For me, it was just a bit odd....low flex but weirdly thick feeling beam made it play stiffer than its RA alone would indicate. comfort isn't problematic but definitely not plush. swings a bit easier than the pure strike with similar stability. more power than something like blade 18x20 or yonex hd; along with the pure strike, probably one of the more powerful 18x20s while still offering good control. it was a good to great racquet to demo and checked most of my boxes (no arm issues, stable but not sluggish, natural to swing, could feel where ball landed on strings, right power/control level), but i just didn't vibe with it as naturally as some other racquets...the beam thickness and 100sq in. head size just made it a little awkward for me. it was a jack of all trades, master of none situation.

and to answer OP's subjective question, pure strike 18x20 3rd gen is pretty great for 1st serve, being one of the more powerful 18x20s. and i can still generate a lot of slice with it on my second serves to get a curve. kick serve can't comment on since i don't have a decent kick :'(

Interesting assessment. Have you hit with the gravity pro? Can you compare the speed to the gravity pro?

Have an HPS 6.1 95 18x20 that serves well but weighs the same as the original PS 6.1 95, 12.9 oz. Suspect it is a PS 6.1 95 with a PJ.

Whichever racquet is being used by the best server. Go look up the racquets being used by the best servers on the ATP and WTA or in college tennis and you see every racquet under the sun. They all have decent swingweight usually especially on the ATP tour.

6.1 95 Stretch or a Prestige MP Stretch both 18x20. Dropping more bombs than America in the last 100 years with those racquets!

Had a pr of Prestige Classic 600 XL, without CAP grommets that served well. Aire Shell 3.0 95 too
