What is the factory unstrung swing weight of the RF97?

I am interested in purchasing a couple of RF97 with matched static weight, balance and swing weight, but I do not know what the unstrung swing weight of the racquet, and I assume TW would match prior to stringing.

What range of swing weight should I ask for if I want a strung swight weight of ~330?

Is there a factory documentation some where on unstrung swing weight of the racquets from different manufacturers?

Thanks,

I hope you realize that the strung SW will depend on what string you install on the frame. Most posters here assume about 30 SW units will be added by strings, but it really depends on the string. Thin polys/SG/Multi/nylons could be less; hybrids/thicker polys could be more and this will screw up your SW. 2 cents.

Also try reading the playtest thread and this:

Got it, thanks.

To see the unstrung specs go to http://www.wilson.com/en-us/tennis/rackets/attacker/pro-staff-rf97-autograph but that does not show the swing weight. A SW of 330 is pretty Lowe for an RF97 so you could ask for the 2 lightest SWs and hope they are both below 330 and match them up yourself.

I measured swingweight on 7 rackets unstrung. And it ranged from 301 to 335.. terrible !!!
That is only a little over +/-5% off from a SW 318 average. If you equate that to a tennis court the far service line is 60' from the baseline. 5% is a 6' (3' each way) variation, I usually give my opponent anything within 3' of the line. Don't we all? NOT!!! What do you expect for only $249?

I used to be a die hard Wilson fan and Federer is one of my favorite players but I switched away from Wilson. If you want better QC stop buying Wilson until they realize they can't make money with poor QC. They will get the message. You keep paying good money for trash you'll keep getting trash. If it ain't broke don't fix it.
