What is the last pro match you have been to?

And what was the result?

For me: 2007 Rogers Cup Final; Djokovic defeats Federer in 3 sets - 7-6 2-6 7-6.

I was supposed to go to a 2008 US Open event, but I had work :(

2004 US Open semis

Hewitt beat J. Johansson
Federer beat Henman (match had his famous behind the back/between the legs half-volley)

Blake defeated Young: 6-1 3-6 6-1 4-6 6-4 (US Open 1st round 2008 )

Ginepri def. Blake 6-2, 6-2 @ the 2008 SAP Open

i remember expecting a fantastic match from blake, only to get a boring, error-filled bore-a-thon.

was going to put a pic up, but looks like i need a website

You can do it easily at imageshack.us

Upload it there from your computer (you can even resize it if it's too big), copy the URL they give you and paste it into the image insert form, which is available on the toolbar above the reply box on this forum.

On topic:

I've never been to a pro match.

Nadal def Agassi 6–3, 4–6, 6–2 at the 2005 Rogers cup final in Montreal.

One of the best memories i have, it was Agassi's last time in Montreal. I'll be going back at the Rogers Cup this Wednesday, i hope i can catch a good match.

What are the night matches like? I mean the way they look on t.v.--it just looks unreal--like the super bowl of tennis.

Electric......that's the word. The atmosphere at the US Open is always awesome....and not just at Ashe stadium.

The match I remember best is Federer/Ferreira v. Safin/Kafelnikov 7 years ago in Toronto. Terrible tennis, but the guys on the court werer having a great time & it was in a very tiny court, no one knew Federer, and there were only half a dozen girls around Safin. And Kafelnikov was just his stoic self. Tennis histories have been written between then and now.

Andres Gomez vs. Vitas Gerulitis (RIP). Back in 1987 or something during an exo on the beautiful island of Curacao. Andres Gomez went on to win the tournament. The tournament was called Malboro Invitational. I was a ballboy at the tournament. Our reward: a free Pepsi. It was an honour.

I have never been to a pro tennis match. I think I would like to go see the US Open or Wimbledon one day. I don't think I could stand the heat of the Australian Open or the French.

Wimbledon 09 Semi's
Federer vs. Haas (on Henman Hill)
Murray vs. Roddick (on Henman Hill)
Williams sisters doubles (court 1)
Bahrami and Leconte (court 1)
Veterans doubles with Rusedski and Cash (court 3)

2004 US Open semis

Hewitt beat J. Johansson
Federer beat Henman (match had his famous behind the back/between the legs half-volley)
You should have stayed for 2 more days and witnessed one of the best performances by a player in slam-history:)

Sunrise Challenger event in March. Saw - Soderling paste Bolleli; Darcis beat Bjorn Phau; Schuetler beat Korolev; Bedych beat Gicquel; and Feliciano Lopez beat Youzhny.

Last match I went to was Venus Williams vs Elena Dementieva and Venus/Serena vs Bethanie Mattek/Nadia Petrova at Stanford 2 weeks ago. Ended too quickly the, the Williams dominating.
