he doesnt love tennis!
and he is not talented enough like agassi to mask his shortcomings.
this punk is playing exclusively for the money.
he doesnt respect the sport, the fans, the media, sometimes his rivals, and as i said before his fear of being defeated makes people believe that he only loses because tank his matches when that is not true.
In addition to having serious emotional problems that brings deplorable scenes that we have all seen.
If he wants to continue playing tennis exclusively for money, go ahead, but he must understand that being a professional admits a certain respect to all the parties that make up this sport.

He is relatively rich and famous in the sport. I think he doesn't care if he doesn't develop all his potential.

One of the US commentators at the match said that although Nick doesn't always actually like playing tennis, he likes being at tournaments and around the other players. It's just the actual matches that bore him.

He won’t tank every match, just the ones where it becomes obvious he will have to work hard for a victory like his subdued effort v Albot this evening.
No way he’s got a one off Slam up his sleeve, just a lazy middle ranking career with the odd flashy win.
Changed my avatar to someone who cares.

Maybe he’s just not that good?

He’s a servebot who has servebotted his way to a few wins over some big players at times when they were close to their worst

Now he’s carrying several injuries, is noticeably fatter and is older. Whatever ‘natural talent’ he had other than his serve is fast dropping off a cliff

Yep. I think the injuries, lack of training, and one dimensional game.

Interesting in his presser he said he ‘can’t afford to take time to rehab’ his knee and is playing to keep to his schedule and ‘rely on his serve’

He’s finally completed the full evolution into Mark Philippousis 2.0

Would you agree hes motivated for the center court match against ND/RF/RN but not really anything else?
i don't even know about that anymore...against fed at USO (does it get much bigger?), he tried at beginning but by the end it looked like he was more interested in the highlight reel... he just doesn't dig deep

A lot of it is clearly him being chronically injured and unfit on top of lacking the drive. These things also being related.

Kyrgios is entirely happy to play at a level that allows him to earn a paycheck. If he gets fit enough, maybe he will yet have a great run at a major one day, but then again, he might not.

I wouldn't expect much.

I’m sick of Kyrgios. I’m sick of watching him tank, I’m sick of listening to the non stop psychoanalysis and excuse-making on his behalf by the commentators. I don’t care if he is a wonderful guy that everyone on tour loves when he’s off the court. The guy is a cancer to the sport and a slap in the face for anyone who pays for a ticket. As far as I’m concerned he should be banned. If I were watching his match live I would be taunting him non stop between every point until they escorted me out.

You need a new option in the poll: “get arrested for killing a ball boy with a serve while the kid was still on the court picking up a ball.”

They killed the Davis Cup just to suit corporate interests, but its kyrgios who is destroying tennis with his attitude. Right.
