dude, powerful groundstrokes and hard hitter essentially means the same thing.
a LITTLE BUT PEOPLE WITH POWERFUL GROUNDSTROKES, I MEANT MORE BASELINER AND THEY DON'T VOLLY AND BLH BLAH BLAH
HARD HITTING I MEANT WAS REALLY AGGRESIVE AND DOES EVERYTHING IT TAKES TO GET THE POINT

Thank goodness ya see the difference between counterpuncher & pusher. I used to be all-around, did as much baseline as I did volleying, but now Im more baseline counterpuncher.

i really hate pushers...
uhh frustrating
my cousin played a few years ago at a tournament and we weren't as consistant then, he lost 6-4 6-4... I was just watching and i was like, he's not even swinging at the ball!!!!!! he is just tapping it back! i wasn't playing, but i was watching and was so puzzled, but I don't think it would work against him now because he hits harder and more consistantly.:)

I Voted Hard Hitter Because I Hit The Ball Really Hard And Go For Winners All The Time, I Hate Being Moved Around Because I Have Horrible Footwork And I Try To End Off Points Quickly

I hate vollying
i've been trying to get better and I havn't had too much lessons on them because i suck at them and i dont want to practice them. I can only do swing vollys. I cant quite get the punching and placing the volly without it missing. If im forcedto come to net ill likely lose unless i come on my own terms.
SAD...

i pretty much stay at the baseline and counterpunch with no weapons (and no major flaws). overall i guess i would say i am a counterpuncher. i like running balls down and making my opponent earn the point. i just don't really have a big enough weapon yet to really have a ko punch.

Everybody hates pushers, even pushers. It doesn't need to be said anymore. It's just implied. :)

i dont hate pushers. there easy to play against if you have a brain. why would you ever go for alot if they cant hurt you at all. play nice cross court shots come to net and laugh. they cant kepp you from controlling the point as they just keep floating it back. stop trying to be safin and hitting 200 mph forehands and keep the ball in play.

wow... this is a hard choice... doesn't it really depend on who you're playing with and how you feel like playing that day?

Doesn't everyone have powerful strokes these days?

Big Server, Counter Puncher. Rely on serve, and then play statistical tennis. Typically return aggressively, unless I'm playing a phenomenal server.

Lol yes
Personally it's out of question I find myself like 4 meters behind the baseline running and scrambling - I control the point a max in the rally then with an opening head to the net as fast as possible !

To get back on topic, I believe there is a kind of technical style. I think Federer plays a technical game, he has almost perfect technique and as such can basically play any kind of style that he wants depending on things such as the surface, his opponent, etc...

um i hit hard with my Bh but i slice my Fh about 60% of the time. I have a big serve. I dont come to the net unless i get an attackable ball or to return drop shots.
