I use luxilon big banger alu power spin in my mains, followed by prince synthetic gut in the crosses. I was just wondering what others like in terms of hybrid stringing patterns.
I use luxilon m2 in the mains at 56 and babolat conquest at 58 in the crosses.
I used luxilon alu in the mains and technifibre nrg2 for a while. I really like both these set ups. good balance
M: Lux BB Original @ 58lbs
C: HEAD RIP Control @ 59lbs.
Klip Legend gut 17 and Gosen Sheep Micro 17; 62/67.
ALU Power mains and Big Ace crosses (2)
Blue Gear mains and Big Ace crosses (1)
You realize that M2 is designed so that you don't need to hybrid it...right?
Unless you're just doing it to make it cheaper, in which case you're wasting your money on a really mediocre string to begin with.
Just curious, why the "hex"treme crosses?See my Sig.....
How is the durability of Gosen Sheep Micro 17? Does it break before the Klip Legend?
Thanks for your answer
No, it doesn't break, but loosing the tension relatively quickly. I think I'll go back to poly on crosses (SPPP,Cyberflash,Silverstring), the Gosen feels to soft.
