Hi, Fed devotee! I expect Rafa not to retire. What kind of retirement are folks expecting for Nadal?
Yuck.Probably crying in the arms of Alcaraz after being dethroned
Sacrificial bull.
Mummification!? Cryogenization!? What do you reckon will be the best solutions for solving this unnecessary little problem of Nadal's aging!?Hi, Fed devotee! I expect Rafa not to retire.
What sort of time frame did you have in mind?I think Rafa will go silently, he is not a man to have ceremonies and pamper his own ego by having players celebrating his retirement with him, that kind of things he won't do.
If there is a ceremony organized by ATP to honor him then he will be a part of it or else he will silently announce that it is his last match. Whatever that venue is.
It will not be big. He will probably make the announcement after a tournamnent, whether he wins or loses. Either after RG, Wimbledon or Olympics in 2024.
I just don't see Nadal going big for his retirement. It'll probably be a small announcement, with no official celebration like the one we got for Rog.
This is a picture of Fed's animal.
Well.I think in 2025.
Nadal should retire at 2024 Olympics but he won't, he normally likes the Slams more than anything else, so he will maybe aim for Roland Garros 2025 maybe because until 2024 he cannot retire even if he is mummified, so he will go till 2025.
Novak isn't retiring until 2026 so my guess is if Rafa is behind Novak in slams by 2024 then he will announce retirement in next few months, otherwise he will try to play till 40+
Rafa is loved at Roland Garros. I'm aware that Rafa bashers have tried to convince readers/listeners of the opposite, but they haven't succeeded.Either nothing at all, or a ceremony in Spain.
As much as people identify him with RG, I don't get the sense that there is a ton of warmth between him and the tournament itself...unlike Fed at Wimbledon or Pete/Andre at the US. He's a homebody.
If they loved him, would they have turned him into some sort of tin foil scissorhands monster?Rafa is loved at Roland Garros. I'm aware that Rafa bashers have tried to convince readers/listeners of the opposite, but they haven't succeeded.

Rafa has always liked to play in front of a big crowd, his fans give him energy. He always thanks fans for supporting him. He won't retire (in 5+ years) silently.I think Rafa will go silently, he is not a man to have ceremonies and pamper his own ego by having players celebrating his retirement with him, that kind of things he won't do.

Have you heard of the Spanish Revolution and Spanish Civil War of 1931-1939?Spaniards are notoriously that way, very machismo and prideful about their flag, monarchy, etc.
You don't understand contemporary art. The metal statue of Rafa was created by Spanish artist, Jordi Díez Fernandez. "The idea of suspending it was intended to imply that the ball is going very fast," explains Díez.If they loved him, would they have turned him into some sort of tin foil scissorhands monster?
I know, but they turned him into a fractured liquid metal nightmare reject! You don't understand contemporary art. The metal statue of Rafa was created by Spanish artist, Jordi Díez Fernandez. "The idea of suspending it was intended to imply that the ball is going very fast," explains Díez.
¤¤ Jordi Diez Fernandez is regarded as one of Spain’s best sculptors. He loves to work exclusively with stainless steel, a metal that provides luminosity, among many other qualities, and that turns his creations into an artistic novelty, admired by experts in figurative and contemporary art. ¤¤

Could go any number of ways.
A new user has arrived to trash talk!Obelisk sized syringe from Dr Cotorro that would make Captain America serum seem like minute maid by comparison.

Here, you can see the picture of Rafa the artist used to create the statue (the artist is his fan):A statue that doesn't resemble Rafa is a very subtle declaration of love.

"hior"? Is that the knock-off, Great Value brand of Dior?I hior he disappears tomorrow itself. Enough damage done to our great sport.

Tax evasion?
I wonder if Nadal has ever had Chick fil A
It's rough stuff!!!
