not all open players are good actually im 3.5 and i entered open... of course i died out there....

Probably a better question would be how good are open players that win the tournament. They are usually in the 5.5-6.5 range depending on the how big the tourney is and how much prize money there is.

Actually in this tournament all of the playes are generally good. They are all current college players. The A, B, and C are how they divide the players up in to groups depending on skill level. A's are the people that generally play #1 or #2 for their University B's 3 & 4 and so on.
