Okay, so apparantly all the nextgen players have one or two major flaws in their games, apparantly the ability to dictate play is mainly because of it.

For example, zverev's forehand and second serve, Medvedev's ballstriking, Tsitsipas's return, shapovalov's return & shot tolerance, Berretini's movement and backhand etc etc.

Almost all of them pretty much suck at net skills and half volley etc, so I'll leave that.

The question here is, if we take one element from a nextgen player and impart it to another NextGen player, does it make that specific player more potent to defeat the declined post-prime versions of big3 in best of 5, consistently? For example, 2017-19 roger or 2017-20 nadal or 2018-21 djoko.

I have a few options here and there. Let's check them out.

1) Tsitsipas with Zverev's return
2) Shapovalov with Tsitsipas's shot tolerance
3) Zverev with Tsitsipas's forehand
4) Medvedev with Zverev's power
5) Zverev with Medvedev's 2nd serve
6) Berretini with Medvedev's Backhand
7) Berretini with Zverev's movement
8 ) Shapovalov with Zverev's return
You can suggest your combo options as well
There are just 2 conditions.

A) No involvement of mental or clutch elements
B) you can not take more than one component of any nextgen player to replace in other nextgen player

Also, should I create a poll here? Do let me know.

Legend
he is the most complete next gen but he could still benefit from a bigger/more aggressive forehand and a better second serve, and a better net game
I could argue that he has a great forehand but when he’s nervous, he holds back because he’s afraid to hit long. When he’s confident, he hits rockets with his forehand. His second serve is bad because he’s afraid to DF. It’s all mental. As for his net play, he’s better than any next gen. Not exactly Federer or Djokovic level but he’s pretty good.

Shapovalov with more shot tolerance could be scary. But his lack of a gameplan and sometimes strange footwork would still be a problem.

Taitsipas with a better return is the best option, I think. Before his injury he was quite impressive this year, and he has the best serve + forehand combo of the next gen 3.

My thoughts are somewhat heading towards that as well.

Should I add a poll my friend?

Little bit mind.
Zverev and Denis both are most complete one in next gen but lack mental powers
Denis especially has the most firepower out of all NextGen bar carlos maybe.
And its so ridiculous that a player like him who has 3000+ Rpms off the forehand wing makes so many errors.
