What Nole said to Delpo

Argentine press has published an article where Delpo explains what Nole said to him when they embraced after the match. Translation below:

"It was a very nice gesture from him, he stepped away from the role of a tennis player, which at that moment was not easy, to go to the opponent’s bench and say a few words. He told me I was a great champion, that I had to be proud, that I was also an inspiration, I am filled with happiness by those words, at that moment I was not happy but now I remember them and it was a very nice gesture, "he told TN (an argentine local news channel).

Shortly after, on ESPN, Del Potro added: "It makes me happy and it gives me pride because Nole is also a friend in the circuit." In the chair, where I was at my worst moment of sadness, he told me to enjoy because I should be proud. That for him it was an inspiration that I was there with him on that stage. "

I'm sure that was a translation error. But hey focus on one tiny part of a quote rather than the whole beautiful message that Novak said to an opponent he just beat. It wasn't, "Hey thanks for the match, but I've got your number, better luck next time", it was something much more beautiful than that that really made JMDP proud.

They obviously liked each other all the way back to the Djoker impression video from the US Open locker room back in 2007 or whatever.

I think the second 'he' could be Nadal. That's why beating him to make it to the final should have already made Delpo proud.
I mistranslated. Nole was saying that Delpo was a great champion. Corrected the text.
