What player beat his two main rivals in all Slams?

The answer is only one: Novak Djokovic.

And with a big margin, because no one else has even beaten his two rivals at 7/8 Slams.

1) Djokovic 8/8 (beat both Federer and Nadal in all four Slams)

2) Sampras 6/8 (beat Agassi at WI, UO and Courier at AO, RG, WI, UO)
Federer 6/8 (beat Djokovic at AO, RG, WI, UO and Nadal at AO, WI)
Nadal 6/8 (beat Djokovic at RG, WI, UO and Federer at AO, RG, WI)

3) McEnroe 5/8 (beat Connors at RG, WI, UO, and Lendl at WI, UO)
Lendl 5/8 (beat Wilander at RG, UO, and McEnroe at AO, RG, UO)
Wilander 5/8 (beat Lendl at AO, RG, UO, beat Edberg at AO, UO)
Edberg 5/8 (beat Courier at AO, UO, and Lendl at AO, WI, UO)
Agassi 5/8 (beat Becker at RG, WI, UO, and Sampras at AO, RG)
Courier 5/8 (beat Sampras at RG, UO, and Edberg at AO, RG, WI)

Nadal and Federer never played at the USO otherwise one of them would be at 7/8. As for the players of old times, they never played the AO, otherwise Mac could also be 7/8. In general a very useless made-up stat to begin with.

Nadal and Federer never played at the USO otherwise one of them would be at 7/8.
they didn't play because they were not as consistent as Djokovic at reaching the latter stages, so it's their fault.

UO finals:

Djokovic 10
Federer 7
Nadal 5

UO semifinals:

Djokovic 14
Federer 10
Nadal 8

Am I right or am I right?

There are 3 types of Tennis fans associated with Djokovic

Type 1
: People who think he is better than Federer and Nadal, this group is in minority. You guys are loud but you are not many in number.

Type 2 : People who know he is not better than Federer but we respect "destiny" because we understand it was Djokovic's destiny to emerge with more slams than Federer. It is not something we like but we respect destiny/god's will.

Type 3 : People who know he is not better and people who are bothered as well by the fact that he has better stats now. They dont like him, they find him bad etc ...they dont respect God's will / destiny at all.

I am in Type 2, I dont dislike Djokovic, I might dislike his fans a bit because I find them naive and annoying, but Djokovic is not so bad. His game could be boring but his personality is interesting, he creates Drama and that is fun to watch too.

Valid point. If Mac had played Connors and Lendl at AO he could have been at 7/8. But still below Novak anyway.
Fact is, the stat is basically a product of the big three being incredibly consistent which was not the case in polarized conditions of yore. Typically players did not even play their main rivals at all four slams, so the stat you are citing is a by-product of the records the big three already have.

Personality-wise Novak is my favorite among the big three. He speaks his mind and is not afraid to go into controversies, whereas Fedal's public statements are completely useless as it is just parroting what their PR managers tell them. Nadal at least went a little away from the woke-standard when he schooled this female reporter on equal pay, Federer completely plays into his "gentleman" image and even said Serena was the greatest player male or female after a stupid reporter asked him to clarify. You can completely ignore what he says in public, only Murray is worse.

True, but It applies to other stats too. The career grand slam for example.

We've had 6 CGS by Big3s and probably we will have more from Sinner/Alcaraz, while in the 70s, 80s and 90s there was only one (Agassi).

Personality wise, it is hard to say 1 is better than the other.

Djoko's outspoken personality even I like a lot, in some ways I too like being a rebel sometimes but he takes some things too far. His vaccination stunt was a bit too far fetched, could have/should have silently entered Aus without creating a fuss.

Federer is diplomatic beyond limits, I don't like that, it is good at an extent but he takes it too far as well, plus he cries everywhere like an idiot without control of his emotions, that too is odd. However Federer is classy in many ways that Djoko or Rafa cannot, we love his elegance.

Nadal is mentally like Iron, does not cry or show weakness even after losing. He is unfazed by criticizm too, I see that attributes in Sinner, so I like this aspect of Nadal. His unnecessary jumping around before matches or intimidation tactics even I would not like if I was a player, I dont think Djoko liked it at all, he mentioned how Nadal did this in the locker room too to intimidate everyone by showing that he is physically superior... haha.... Federer used to found this amusing, not intimidating ... but later on as they faced each other more and more Fed started to find Nadal's athleticism annoying I think.

Yeah, Nadal schooling the reporters or his interviews are funny, somebody once congratulated him for losing a match or they told him he never been in finals of Aus open, he funnily tackled them. It was all funny. Nadal's press conferences are the funniest among the big 3. Nadal even schooled somebody when they compared him to Ashley Barty, lol... he said Barty is world number 1 but I am also number 2 in the world after winning 18 grand slams....loved it when he mentioned 18 grand slams... so Nadal's press is always more interesting.

Yeah Djoko sometimes takes it too far. His vaccine stuff or his Serbian pyramids were cringe, but nevertheless he is not afraid to go against the flow. What I dislike about Nadal his his dumbass fake humbleness. I dig it that he is not arrogant, but to say one has to play their best against 150 in the world? Come on. He does not even believe that himself.
Fed is classy, but then again he never read a book in his life, so his image of the intellectual gentleman is also more PR than anything (even though his 4 languages is impressive).

We did not have these super-rivalries in the 90s. Sampras and Agassi who were the biggest rivalry in the 90s played each other 34 times, and only 9 times at slams. Borg and Mac only 14 times. Lendl and Mac 36 times and Lendl and Connors 35 times. Compare that to the big three and their 40, 50, 60, with 14, 17 and 17 slam matches, it is a big difference.

There are 3 types of tennis fans ....
1 . Who think Novak is better than Roger and Rafa
2. Who think Novak was destined to be more slam holder than Roger and Rafa.
3. Who think novak is not better than Roger and Rafa no matter how much he wins.
TYPE 1 is always questionable . Roger rafa Novak all were titans of the game . Way ahead of the competition .
TYPE 2 is reality and 4 slam lead and 2 slam lead is unquestionable . No matter how much weak era arguments CIE arguments comes 24>22>20 is a fact.
TYPE 3 fans are sore fans who dont want to accept the reality that Novak has done more than enough to open eyes of his critics.
If one has decided to remain closed eye what Sun can do

I think deep down people in Type 2 respect Djokovic's struggles too, but Type 3 does not have any respect for his struggles.

However, type 1 makes Type 2 people behave like Type 3. The naive fans of a player makes type 2 behave like type 3 at times.

I assume the former pros, coaches and people dedicated to the sport, including the majority of current players are...."the minority".
When you think about this...you should realize how biased and clueless you are ;)

If it was only a difference in slams you could be right but weeks at no.1 and masters won number put Nole in a different ball park. Denying it is self-deceiving.

There's quite a few, actually. Serena beating Sharapova.

Pretty sure Agassi beat Chang in all 4 majors.

There are a few others, these are just off the top of my head. Not really a big deal, if you're trying to make it out to be.

One of the most interesting stats amongst the big 3 is this one:

Big 3 wins against each other at their pet Slams:

Federer
vs ND at AO - 1
vs RN at RG - 0

Nadal
vs ND at AO - 0
vs RF at Wimbledon - 1

Djokovic
vs RN at RG - 2
vs RF at Wimbledon - 3

This is the reason when they were all tied at 20, Sampras just flat out called Djokovic the GOAT. lol

Only Slam matter, rest of it is irrelevant in the discussion of greatness for ATGs in this era, it mattered before 2005, not anymore.

25 Slams with 209 weeks at 1 > 24 slams with 428 weeks at 1

We know where you are...

The pros are all jealous, Sampras and Borg were jealous of Federer and Nadal for ages. Pete always held resentment towards Federer for erasing his record in 6 years span. Pete is that guy who said Slams above all, he anointed himself the Goat with 14 slams and declared her is chasing Roy Emerson. The ATGs before him never chased Emerson but suddenly Pete anointed himself the GOAT with 14 slams, it serves him right that he got surpassed in 6 years by a guy who was more popular, richer and more dominant in peak years than Pete. It hurt Pete a lot. Borg's french record was made irrelevant by Nadal, his 5 straight wimbledons equalled by federer, so he too has been a bit jealous.

I thought you liked Pete. Always called him alpha. What happened man? Anyways, Pete never gave me the slightest impression that he was jealous of Roger. He was present when Roger beat his record, he congratulated him all the times and always praised him as the better player. Pete in general after his retirement gives zero **** about tennis anymore it seems, and even less in his place in the GOAT list.

Had Nadal and Djoko played 10 times at the AO he would have beaten him. Nadal at RG > Novak at AO. Fed would likely have beaten Nadal as well had he got the 2015 and 2021 versions.

If I just go ahead and crown Djokovic the GOAT, will his fans finally stop flooding the place with a brand‑new ‘historic stat’ thread every single day, or will they just escalate to hourly updates?
I will happily write here that I accept Novak as the undisputed GOAT if that means that his dickriders here will see their mission as accomplished and disappear from this forum for good.

Yes, only if YOU do that, they will stop. Save us please!

Nadal came close in 2012 when they both were peak so if he played Djokovic enough at a top level, I could see him getting a win. The thing is, how many years was he top level at the AO or close to that 2012 level? Not many. I would give Federer a win over 2015 but 2021? No. Nadal would find a way and grind him down.

Pete was alpha in his era but even the best of them can be insecure later on.

Pete has no business declaring anyone GOAT, thats petty things reserved for us fanboys, he should be above these things. Borg too. These guys cheerleading for Novak cannot be without agenda, and I would say the same if they simped for Federer.

Yes they were present for Federer at wimbledon 2009, but that was more of a social commitment. If Pete skipped it while Rod was there then it would have looked like he was sour, so he had to make that trip. Borg himself could not skip it because of obvious reasons, the other greats there and he too had to be there. Today these guys making statements is for attention, no other reason.

2015 Nadal would likely have lost against 2015 Fed himself. Both versions would definitely have lost against prime Fed of 2006.

LOL, a prime example why this board went from GREAT to mediocre to crap over time

Quality of fans always is proportional to the quality of tennis. Tennis in itself went to the dogs when Djokovic and Nadal took over from Federer because not only was tennis more slam centric, now surfaces like carpets were defunct, masters finals and tour finals stopped being BO5.

So when you lower the quality of tennis then the quality of tennis fan boards will also go down, blame ATP for it.

You are so sure about all that with ZERO evidence.
Federer was helpless against Nadal at RG over the years, he had many opportunities and never came close.
As for the AO, Nadal had chances early on. When they met last time (I believe 2019 final?), ND was toying with him, Nadal looked like an amateur on the court. But they did not meet as Nadal did not make later stages of the tournament where ND was waiting for many years...unlike the FO scenario

Well , it’s more like Fedal fans who are flooding with all the hypothetical scenario in their threads to discredit Novak. Novak fans are relaxed about that.

Fed was struggling against Nadal everywhere once Nadal hit his prime lol meanwhile Novak beat both Fedal , there’s no excuse for Fed to not beat Nadal since he was not old , hell he was even losing to off prime baby Nadal on outdoor HC , peak Novak would have destroyed baby Nadal on HC but Prime Fed couldn’t do it.

Quality of tennis did not decline, it is the excuse fans use to blow up someone's successes.
2006 RF would not dominate Sinner or Carlos today like he did Baghdadis, Roddick and company back then....and still could not touch Rafa at the FO.
