What plays like a softer Pure Aero?

Yeah, I'm having similar problems with my wrist and the Pure Aero 2016. I may look at the new Pure Aero with the lower stiffness rating.

On much softer side: Yonex DR98 Light with a bunch of lead.
On a bit softer side: Yonex VCORE 98 (or older one with SV in the name)

Been drinking still in pub so pinch of salt.
Isn't the ProKennex 5g same mould? 5g is quiet soft, softer than its RA with those grains of salt in frame.

Maybe try the new Head 360 Extreme Pro or MP. With lower stiffness. Look good on paper.

Best for arm would be Prokennex racquets. Try the Ki Q+5 Pro. Super arm friendly, plays like something in between a pure drive and pure drive tour.

Also curious to know what string layouts you've been using in recent history.

Any racquet can become much tougher on the arm when it's strung with stiffer stuff. That being said, I'm certainly a fan of Volkl gear and I have a lot of respect for Yonex racquets, too.

I think he purposely did not include the string he used because he didn't want to hear that he should quit using polys. Just because the pros use it, everybody thinks they gotta use it too. You could try a Pro Kennex ki 5, but even that won't help if you use polyester strings.

I never had elbow troubles but I purchased 2019 Pure Aero after playing with the Wilson Ultra Tour. More power, as comfortable as the Ultra Tour.

1st version of wilson blx pro open (yellow & black) was the softest version out of the 3.

I like the latest release the best.
Even though it has a higher RA, it feels very comfortable, is solid off the ground, and has great control.

even though the 3rd release of the blx pro open has the same RA as the old PA and higher RA than the newest PA, it feels comfortable to me

What about the Prince Beast 100? I haven't played with it, but it sounds like a more arm friendly control oriented alternative.

The Wilson (k)obra tour or pro was a really soft Babolat aero . Was surprised not more pros didn’t use this . It’s one Wilson’s best kept discontinued secretes
