What Poly,soft and durable ?

I was interested in Luxilon BB alu power, hybrid with multi, since it had similar spin as RPM blast, but more durable, but then TW testers said it needed to be replaced every 2-3 weeks, regardless of playing so im looking for another spin friendly poly that is soft for the arm but last longer, any ideas ?

I dont break strings, i have played 6 months + on the sensation i use, 2-5 hours per week of playing, but i would love to gain a bit of the spin the polys provide.

(They only polys they have where i string is rpm blast and lux bb alu power, thats why i was looking at them in the first place, but i guess i could order a reel of something else and bring them.)

Polys only last 2 weeks to a month, even if they don't break. They lose their elasticity quickly and die. They are good for people who break syn gut and multis in less than 10 playing hours. You'll save a lot of bother and expense by sticking with nylon based strings or natural gut (which would give you some more spin, but not poly spin.) A multifilament that I've read is very poly-like is Head RIP Control. It's not terribly expensive and it's worth a try.

If you are getting 6 months+ with Sensation, you are not a candidate for poly.
Poly will not give you spin.
If your strokes were producing spin. you'd be breaking Sensation in the blink of an eye.
Try upgrading your multi to Prince Premier Attack and work on your mechanics.

Unless you hit the crap out of the ball and you play competitively you should stick with a crisp synthetic gut. It's cheap, comfortable and plays good.

1- Buy a reel for the price of 3 sets of poly
2- Save the money for stringjobs

If you don't fit in this category you won't need our help, you'll be able to figure it out yourself.

I can agree that i dont NEED polys for durability purposes, however i tried hybrid poly/multi in my blade 93,and it did add some spin,so for that purpose i was interested.

Also,it would tame the power from the multi slightly wich would add some control.

whenever i hear the word "durable" attached to poly i get a little bit uneasy, not to say histerical. durability is in my opinion the last feature to be looking for in a poly! if you cant break poly within max 12 hitting hours you should not play this kind of string unless your tennisgear-iq is high enough to know that latest by the 15th hour ANY poly should get the scissors, regardless of full bed or hybrid.

of course, durability is a rather user-sensitive word in the sense that some might define durability as a 10hrs life span for a string set while others might think of something like 6 months.

Only since you do not break strings, a value option with extra spin and feel/softness is to use a synthetic gut main and slick poly cross such as MSV Co-Focus and in a 17 gauge or thinner. I've been stringing this for some older players in the area who are not at all string breakers, and they have enjoyed it over their normal full synthetic or full poly (which is way past dead) setups.
You will get some extra spin out of the strings with the thinner gauge and the low friction, slick poly cross while maintaining the better feel/softness and power of the synthetic gut which is a nice setup AS LONG AS you are not a string breaker as the poly will notch the SG mains more quickly.

Sensation is among the most powerful and comfy strings but is not exactly known for it's performance or feel.
There are several intermediate steps before going to poly.
