Ah yes, thanks... that seems to be correctThe ones I’ve seen like that have been labelled as the Prince Spirit.
Thick top cross beam gives it away, but I think these old metal princes hit great so have fun with it!I just purchased this online today! I was thinking it was a Prince Boron...oh well...waiting for it to arrive. Still a good buy just for the rarity of it I guess Will post pics when it arrives.
Have you been waiting for the racket since February? The racket finally arrived! Looks classy in person with the gold trim. Compared to the original Classic this is definitely much lighter! Still feels solid though. So much easier to swing!

Tell us how it hits compared to the Classic. Congrats!Nahh...I purchased it before Christmas. The OP was back in February but I posted only a couple of weeks ago

I can see from your photos that your Classic is the older version. The newer version looks basically identical to the racket in the top post, except it’s green/silver. I almost wonder if they’re identical minus color. The Classic is much heftier than this. I guess maybe it's the quality of aluminium used. This one is much easier to swing though. They're both head light but this frame seems so much lighter overall. Good thing is that it doesn't wobble on off centre hits. I don't have any weighing machines or other equipment to back it up, just my feeling
What’s with the Daiwa sticker on the Phantom? Do you have to hold down a button on the grip right before serving? Is it strung with 50-pound monofilament?? Was this the granddaddy of the Prince Turbo Shark???
Daiwa makes fishing reels...bait casters, spinning reels, etc as well as fishing rods. Probably the most sold bait caster on this planet for decades was the Daiwa Millionaire, as well the Ambassadeur bait caster by Abu Garcia. Paired with Lew's Speed Sticks you had a helluva bait caster setup. I'm sure @retrowagen knows exactly what I'm saying here.No idea about the Daiwa sticker. Most of the rackets I got from that place have them. No idea about the answers to your other questions either. Sorry...

I swear it is a spin beast. Look at the ball dive at 3:38I used to like how my Prince Classic was so spinny even with plain old syn gut strung in the 70s.
