It seems Azarenka and Kuznetsova are using new Head rackets? Any details?
I believe Kuznetsova is using a pt219.3. I am not positive about her but it is very similar if not the same as the retail extreme and azarenka uses the pt161. the liquidmetal intinct is what pt161 is code for.
they both use the powerangle pro.
Kuznetsova uses PT219.2. A MG Extreme with a more flexible lay-up not available to the people.
Azarenka uses the Liquidmetal Instinct.
I thought i was close about kuznetsova. thanks for the conformation.
Thanks for the info. Their rackets have no stripes on the sides. Does the PJ on their rackets emulate some new rackets from Head?
Azarenka uses the Liquidmetal with the paint job of the new YouTek Extreme.
Can you see the ridges?
Is it a stock Liquidmetal Instinct or modified (other than the pj)?
im pretty sure nobody uses stock rackets at the pro level
If by stock you mean without lead tape then you are probably wrong, there no way nadal return 130 mph serve with this light unstable stick.
Don't know about the racket ridges. But, if you look closely at the back of her left hand, you will see an eye - like the eye of an alien. That may explain who controls her 2 hand backhand ? Maybe she endorses the " V " t.v. series ?
I guess head doesn't care about hiding anything.
I would think that Head figures that 95% of the people who buy the Extreme won't be looking at still photos of Az's stick and notice the LM ridges on them.
Having said that I would love to try out Kuzy's PT219.2 with that nice soft flex
