both Petrova and Stubbs totally Whiffed on the return on Raymond's serve. It looks like Prince but can't tell which model ??

Last time I saw Raymond she was using the same stick Querrey uses -- 03 Hybrid Tour, I believe it's called. She's an old POG player who likes a bit of mass in her hand. Shahar Peer also used to use this racquet.

Really ?? that is a low powered racket,,isn't it ? I thought it was a Hybrid 03 Hornet racket from Prince ?? Hybrid Hornet was voted the "Racket of the Year from TENNIS magazine in 09, i believe".

You could hear the beautiful "thwock" sound that signifies a full gut stringbed. Too bad her partner choked away the 5-6 game in the third. Notice that the announcers will rarely use the choke word. The pros will choke like dogs, but the announcers make up crazy excuses for them to avoid the "C" word!!

Is that C word 4 letters or 5 letters ?:)

The Prince O3 Hybrid Tour goes down as my personal "one that got away". It's a racquet that I wish I had stocked up on when they were still around in large numbers.

For so many of our pals here who have wanted a modern alternative to the good ol' ProStaff 6.1 Classic, this racquet is easily one of the strongest options to come along in recent years. Though it's just slightly lighter than the 6.1, this frame is hefty, head-light, and stiff enough to pop the ball really well. More comfortable and consistent for me at the baseline than my 6.1's, too. As for spin potential, anyone who's ever played a 6.1 with an open pattern can expect the same serious bite on the ball with the Hybrid Tour.

Despite Prince's other adventures with the Speedports and O-ports, I'll bet that they could reissue this frame and probably sell a few to those (like me) who are in the know. It's not especially harsh, but not quite so arm-friendly as some more renowned "softies" like my Volkl C10's, but those softer Volkls are also only passable around the net for me. As an all-court performer, this Prince HT is one of the best to come along in the last few years.

Did they make this in extended version ??

They're still available here in Australia. Price might not be so enticing to you at $149Aus ($137US) plus shipping but if you want them you can still get them.
