What Rafa has done is better than play 18yrs in a row and never take a break - Mats Wilander

Epic King.

You should respect the soon to be best player of the last 20 years, come one he's not a criminal , don't cope that hard :D:D
There is a big difference in ‘soon to be’ and ‘already the greatest’, sad for you that difference will remain and get bigger in coming season, years. Enjoy the show. Cheers. :)

Look i am a Nadal fan and i think Djokovic and Nadal are roughly equal but i think Djokovic will win more slam than Nadal and become the best player of last 20 years .he's a nice human , albeit crazy at times lol. Don't hate , mate ! :D

So Wilander feels that Rafa’s ability to triumph and set the records he has, in spite of the physical injuries and wear and tear his punishing style of play results in, makes his achievements more impressive than someone else who didn’t have that disadvantage.

Can’t say I disagree with that

Wilander after the FO QF in 2015 said Djokovic was perhaps playing the greatest clay court tennis we'd ever seen, guy is the master of clickbait lol.

He also said Federer had no balls at one time iirc.... might've been re the 06 RG final?

How many of you actually listened to the entire clip? (Come on, it's just 2 minutes...)

I hate to defend Wilander but he made himself pretty clear. The click-bait isn't his statement --------- it's the heading in this thread that makes it seem as if Nadal INTENTIONALLY took breaks and that Wilander supports this and prefers it. Wilander said no such thing.

As far as "GOAT on paper" he is OBVIOUSLY alluding to the 21-20-20 lead.

THIS is clickbait:

“Rafa is the Greatest of all Time on paper”
“What he has done is better than play 18yrs in a row and never take a break” - Mats Wilander
Basically saying Rafa’s achievements are on a different level than boring consistentsy of Djokovic.
That's not what Wilander said, nor even implied.

Next time let's have a real reason to bash Wilander, not artificial, fake reasons... Fake news thread.

That’s what people do here….skim read ….followed by knee jerk emotional and defensive reactions all indignant, when they aren’t actually listening to what was said and why.
Djokovic fans don’t like Nadal getting lauded as the greatest. It’s that simple
