i do feel right to saying murray was great hard court player and really great grass court player
but he play some poolry in RG and lot a clay masters in before 2016

Murray went to the US open final in 2008,

From 2009 onwards

he lost 09 RG QF AT fernando gonzalez in 1- 3
he lost 10 RG R16 at tomas beydych in 0-3
he lost 11 RG SF at rafael nadal in 0 - 3
he lost 12 RG QF at david ferrer in 1- 3
he withdrew in 13 RG
he lost 14 RG QF AT rafa nadal in 0-3
he lost 15 RG SF AT djokovic in 2- 3

and even 16 RG FINAL
he had a chance in that tornament
his level is totally down at after wins first set

and he only had two clay masters ( 15 madrid and 16 rome )

Well, clay has always been his weakest surface and he admits that he didn't bother about it too much until fairly late in his career. He still made 4 semi-finals and 1 final at RG which is more than many claycourt specialists achieved.

He has two clay Masters (2015 Madrid, beating Nadal, 2016 Rome, beating Djokovic).

Three of the greatest of all time, all Europeans with great (albeit contrasting) claycourt games all playing at the same time. With Nadal close to unbeatable at most events he entered on clay for a decade.

Andy must have also been wary about pacing himself during clay season, with half an eye on the pressure cooker of British expectations at Wimbledon always just around the corner each year after Paris.

I do think Andy had point ending power, but he didn't always use it, and he couldn't hit through the court well enough sometimes on clay.

Very hard for Andy to break through the glass ceiling given those circumstances. The barrier for entry has always been tough on clay, even though Andy did have skills on dirt.

2014 was a SF actually and was the only slam that year where he reached that stage. Same goes for 2017, which you left out.

It's certainly his weakest surface, but he wasn't that terrible at all at RG. He also won two masters on clay, beating Nadal (okay, it was 2015) and Djokovic in the finals and also beat a decent Nadal at Madrid 2016. He could play fine on clay, just took a little more effort.

Even before 2016, he did quite well at RG, especially from 2011 onwards when he really started being a more consistent slam player. SF losses to Nadal in '11 and '14 are expected, almost beating Peakovic in 2015 was a great effort and a 2012 QF loss to Ferrer on clay is nothing to be ashamed of. I do agree he was pretty weak in the Masters until 2015, although even before 2015 he had some good performances stopped by running into Nadal or Djokovic.
