This is in my personal opinion, I used barricades 2 for about 2 years and barricades 3 for a year and I have had the Nikes for 6 months. Nothing beats the Breath Free 2 on Hard courts but I dont like to play on clay with them because of the low ground (I always get clay in my shoes cause of low cut socks) so I play with the barricades 3. But I play usually 2 hours a day and theres hardly any wear in the Breath Free.

breathe free 2's are very nice with the barricade 3's in second. why dont you just try them on? breathe free's have the best instant fit (dont have to wear them to let them mold to your feet) and they are very breathable as the name implies. the barricade 3's are VERY comfy but my feet get hot and watery as the ventilation is poor, but just about everything else about it is good.

i cannot comment on the barricade 2's because i do not own them.

Im probably going to get either the barricade 3's or breathe free 2's but was wondering which had better traction?

seems like shoes fit so differently it is hard to compare. i can't for example wear any nikes that i've tried on but love the b2s??? that doesn't really make them better in an objective way, but subjectively, there's no question. . .
