What should Medvedev do?

He’s done. He can’t cover the court like an octopus anymore, and all of the top players are starting to be more attacking and offensive to keep up with the new trend led by Sinner and Alcaraz. Also, he’s not going to start blowing people off the court anytime soon. Huge swings on his forehand side create so little power. De Minaur may start to eclipse him at this point.

He's had a great career, but his game style is a chore and it's worn HIM down. All I can think of is an equipment change so maybe he can get some more pop and end points quicker - but does he even have the mindset to do it? Plus, such changes don't always yield results.

Grass is not his surface especially on day 1 of Wimbledon when the grass is "juicy" (as in slippery). Medvedev, being tall, has a high center of gravity making movement difficult (if not dangerous) on grass especially on opening day of the championships.

Medvedev is a hard court specialist. He now has 2 weeks to rest and prepare for hard court season.

Tsitsipas, Rune, Med, Appletini all crashing out. Zverev struggling. Next gen not doing that well...

Well regarding Med I think he's just getting olddddd. People playing grinding games like him face the effects of age quick, and we shouldn't use guys like Nadal or Djokovic as the standard. Sincaraz should be breathing a sigh of relief though as he plays the top guys tough

I want to keep seeing him. It's good to have different styles to watch. It would be so boring, if Alcaraz started winning everything.
