What should Rafa's schedule be till RG?

Do you think he plays the sunshine double? Personally he should skip the hard court season and turn up for Monte Carlo next. Would also like him to drop either Rome or Madrid from his schedule (considering he'll definitely play Barcelona Open).

Miami
Monte Carlo
Madrid
Rome (if he's feeling it)
French Open
1 Grass court tourney warm up
Wimbledon

I really think he should skip Indian Wells since he already won it several times. Save the wear and tear. After all Miami Open plays right after Indian Wells, so it could take a toll on his body. Best to skip it.

Rationally just one clay masters and a small clay tournament and then RG.

I would like to see him playing Miami, but that's asking too much

In a perfect world nadal would make sure he’s at his peak for Wimbledon. That’s the only thing remaining for me. He won AO thirteen years later. Now win Wimbledon 11 years later.

That would x3 on all surfaces

Dude, I would start believing I’m in some sort of coma hooked up to a machine if that happened. XD

I’d definitely pick Miami, he should go home rest co tongue working on his fitness and serve, come back to Miami and off to CC.

I say give it a shot at Miami with this win it may give him extra confidence to win there and than defend his titles at Barca and Rome

Yep that is what I think he should do as well... What do you think Djokovic does in terms of scheduling?
Yeah I feel that’s a great schedule for Rafa and he can build up well to slams after that.

Aa for Novak I’m not sure. I’d go something like this though provided he can play the tournaments

Dubai
Monte Carlo
Belgrade 1
Rome
French open
Wimbledon
Cincy
Us open
Shanghai
World tour finals

You don't think he plays the sunshine double to try and defend his No 1 ranking?

I’m not sure if he will. He might but as a fan I’d rather he didn’t. I’m not to bothered about him losing that now. I want him to build up his peak condition for the slams starting mainly with clay season. Novak may try to play one of Indian wells or Miami though to stay match fit I guess.

Nadal won't be trying to get to No.1 or anything. He just wants the trophies.
I think Barcelona, Madrid and RG.

And Acapulco?!
He has been more successful at IW BUT I'd rather he play at Miami. Maybe finally he could win Miami too:giggle:
I would love that as well. Winning all the Masters or at least trying would be awesome.
So if I were him I would try to space out tournaments so he gets less tired.
So:
Acapulco
Miami
Monte Carlo
Madrid
RG

Rome is too close to RG and he needs to be as fresh as possible, last year he run out.

Dude has an absolute boner for Acapulco, so hopefully he just plays that and takes a seat, but I can absolutely see him in Indian Wells too. He's talked about the importance of saving his body and being smart to prolong his career, so fingers crossed he's going to be smart. Hard courts are just no good for him. Hope he skips Barcelona or Monte Carlo too, but that obviously isn't going to happen.

1. Make a baby. He's not getting younger.

2. Fix that hair loss and style. With all that money he can get hair weaving done. Not sure I like that side parting. He looks better with longer hair.
