What should Rafa's schedule be till RG?

I think MC, Rome and RG would be smart enough. He really needs to drop Madrid which is his weakest of the bunch.

Id like him to drop Barcelona too, but i sense he will only drop 1 and still play 3 before RG.

He needs to gain points to stay at a high ranking too. Also it's better to start with MC since if he loses early then he can decide to play Madrid for instance or not.

Well hes already gained points from last season dramatically already.

He has proven, at his worst slam, he can win tournaments not being a top 2 seed.
 
he need some pts to get a better seeding at uo? also he needs to see any new tactics of his opponents so he shall play a few in hardcourt season
 
IW, Monte Carlo, Barca, Rome, RG. All these surfaces suit his game and he can really peak for the FO apart from picking up a clay Masters

He would already be getting around 2 months of rest if he plays MC. being out of the game for too long is also going to hurt him. I would say he plays MC
 
Of all the clay tournaments, I really hope he doesnt play Madrid. That court does not suit his game and he has already won like 5-6 times in Madrid. No need to go over there
 
Just go straight to clay from here and play MC, Barca, Madrid, Rome & RG. Rest and recover are the keys at his age and the clay season is where the majority of his ranking points and titles are coming from during the season. Go in fresh and clean up as much as you can.

How much time is there between Miami and MC?

I think Miami is the AO of the MS1000 for Rafa, so unlucky there also, lost like 5 finals, he needs to give it one more go, he hasn’t been back since 2017.

Rafa shouldn’t touch hardcourt until Cincy. 1, MAYBE 2 clay warmups and RG
 
He cost himself at least a couple Slams stubbornly filling his schedule.

Should just play Barcelona, Rome and French. Retire with 22 if he gets it.
 
1. Go home.
2. Sit on his boat.
3. Play Rome OR Barcelona.
4. Go to Paris.

Roger and Novak are right about keeping light schedules.
