What Size Shoes do you guys wear?

Ok, I was reading a post earlier and it said that Jan-Michael Gambill wore a size 13 1/2 shoe. That is huge, so I was wondering do big feet help or hurt you? Gambill's shoes do look huge, but i thought it was cause his shoes were black.

So what size shoes do you guys wear? I wear an 8, so my shoe could fit in Gambill's shoe I'm thinking.

Being that you can't change your shoe size, unless you're a better man than I, why would you even want to know? So you can blame your big or small feet when you miss a shot? I have enough problems with psychology on the court that I don't need to worry about the feet God gave me!

8.5 if you really care--just seems kinda crazy to me!

Small feet are better for tennis. Sampras was a 10.5 and most of the more agile players have small feet regardless of height. I am a 12.5 and I think it really slows me down even though I still get to balls quickly.

What's more important than shoe size is if you are a pronator or supinator. Some pronation is better for tennis, as it is for sprinters.

At least most of you can find shoes. It's nearly impossible to try on tennis shoes for me. No one around here carries anything in my size so I just have to order blindly. Size 14 here and trust me, it's not fun finding shoes. I'm just hoping my feet have finally decided to stop growing.

Masamusou, what nationality are you? Its funny you say its hard for you to find shoes since your feet are big, cause it's hard for me to find size 8 shoes too. But I am asian so that explains me having small feet, what are you?

Mainly German heritage, but I don't know the percentages. It's not too difficult finding shoes in the right size because of TW, it's just that I can't try any shoes on around here. So I end up just ordering what I hope is the right size.

I'm 5'10" and real foot size is like 9-9.5 but I wear 10-10.5
for tennis shoes because there's this extra stuffs going into
tennis shoes; Thorlo socks, cushions or orthotics and sometimes
ankle bracelets. Plus I think we need more room in toe area
for tennis.

Note: I'm super-fast middle aged man. My foot
speed shocks everybody and make their mouth open wide, ha ha ha...
