Laserfibre MS200TT Single Action.
Richard P. has the best set up! of all the machines posted!
Richard has the best machine listed so far! Classic machine with magnetic clamps and customer memory card reader and direct com link to RDC. WOW.
I'm slugging it out with a Sensor and Star 4. I'll get a Sensor Expert when the warantee runs out on my Sensor.
Regards to all,
Hello, Albert! Welcome!
None, but this thread is giving me some good ideas!
buy iolite vaporizer
 Bancroft - drop weight glide bars = great for beginners
Gamma Progresssion 602 floating clamp
Man all those babolat stars and sensor makes me so jealous, :x :x :x
for tournament stringing what do y'all think is the best machine and best value. I've strung on the sensors and from the numourous times that hey've broken down i wouldnt trust my life with one. Star 3 and 4 on the otherhand i like very much.
personally i think the new Alpha Orbitor looks to be the best value for a professional stringing machine, especially after they put the new style mounting system on it, a clone of the babolat mounting systems.
Alpha Power Express - Great machine
Gamma 6004, it's a great machine. Solid as hell, built like a tank, and very quick for my purposes. As well as having suspension 6 point mounting.
NEOS 1000 -- fast, easy, simple and precise
ms200 tt with single action clamps
Babolat Star 4
I own a sp e. stringer 6 pt. but string on a gamma 6500 and 6004 most of the time.
Alpha Revo 4000/2086 tension head
Laserfibre ECO with flying clamps.
I have an Alpha Apex with a Wise Tension Head, which I use most. I also have an Ektelon H, a Winn standup that I'm refurbishing to sell, a Serrano 550B and a Court & Slope drop weight (my very first machine)
Wow! Gaines, I was pretty impressed by your stringing machine collection until I saw the disclaimer - still very impressive though.
I'm using a Silent Partner Swing, I really enjoy stringing and learning more about it on this board. As long as my racquet volume doesn't increase I'd be happy to stay with this baby for the rest of my life. It's a joy using a drop weight machine.
Alpha Pioneer II. Very Solid. 6-Point - Floating Clamps.
Alpha's customer service is awesome! Got some replacement parts.. thing is like new condition. Picked it off of e-bay for $100.00. As stated before.. have to be very careful on ****!
Have a good one!
Eagnas. Have had it for 12yrs. Never had any problems with it so far.
Serano No-Awl (its my father-in-laws) and still does a nice job on the 90-93sqin head racs
I use a Prince Neos for the large head/long body racquets
Wally, which Serrano is that? Is it a standup (550?) or a portable (they had one I think). Just curious.
Prince 3000 Electronic
Klippermate. Adequate for my home string jobs. Paid for itself in the first year back in the days I hit hard(er) and broke strings constantly.
Laserfibre MS200TT w/SA clamps.
Alpha Blu-DC Plus
KlipperMate since 1998.
Just got a new Laserfibre MS200TT w/SA clamps this month.
Stringer configuration I put together
Here is my configuration:
Mounting System, Clamps and Base – Alpha REVO4000
Tension Head – Wise 2086 Professional Digital Electronic Tension Head
Adjustable Stand/Cart – Apollo 51007 Audio/Video Cart with Cabinet and Power
It should arrive in a week or so. I can not wait!
Please add me to your list.
Now have Babolat Star 5
Laserfibre MS200TT w/ dual action clamps.
Just ordered a Gamma X-ST - should be here sometime next week.
Eagnas Flex 740
Love my Klippermate, dream of Alpha Axis Pro.
Laserfibre with flying clamps, only string my racquets. Love it and would highly recommend.
i have a klipper [semi-retired] and a mutual power herc. 630
Got a Alpha Pioneer III and a Gamma 600FC
Alpha Revo 3000 at home, waiting for a Pioneer DC largely due to space limitations.
Alpha Apex + Wise 2086 tension head
Stringway M60 Travel / Flying Clamps.
LaserFibre MS 200TT, DA clamps
you either string a hell of a lot of racquets to pay for these, are very rich, and/or know how to get a good deal on prices.
Sage, that is a compiled list of the machines owned by people, the asterisk next to the Wise 2086 and the Alpha Apex would signify that Gaines uses an Alpha Apex with the Wise tension head. Those aren't all his machines is what I'm getting at here.
NEOS 1000. My wife does not know it yet, but she is getting me a Wise 2086 for Christmas.
ohhhh i misread, makes sense now
Laserfibre MS200TT DA
Laserfibre MS200TT with single-action clamps.
Seems as though there are a disproportionate number of LFs out there. I wonder how representative this poll is of the general stringing population.
