What tension to string Kevlar tension

I am going to string my racket with some Ashaway Crossfire ZX string.
What tension should I string the Kevlar mains and what should I string the Zyex crosses?
I currently play with various poly strings strung at 52 lbs.

:) hopefully not at 90lb like some folks at Kevlar thread. But plz check the existing Kevlar threads. There is even a special thread specifically for the Ashaway Kevlar/ZX hybrid.

Would you recommend stringing the Kevlar higher and the ZX lower or the Kevlar lower and the ZX higher?
If you do poly at 52 then i say do kev/zx at 62/42 as long as you prestretch both strings till they elongate

Fwiw, deep in the e.s.p thread trav talks about how kev/zx at 90/30 is more like 50lbs on a normal stringbed. So all these arms be damned posts dont understand what is going on imho

If the 20lb differential scares you and it shouldnt at all, the. Try 57/47

I use to play with a RF97 with Solinco Tour Bite in the low 50's. And when i switched to Kevlar/ZX i ended up at 60lbs (kevlar mains) and 50 (ZX Crosses).
I was quite surprised how high one could string the kevlar
Only comment, is that i felt i lost control when i dropped the ZX below 50lbs.

Kevlar/ZX, i was amazed how good it is..a real eye opener for me, such control..amazing.

The kevlar is not going to stretch much nor is it going to offer much in the way of playability through resilience. I would tend to string on the low side of recommended for starters.

That is a long time, I would suggest having the racquet restring...bullet proof or not...

I'm pretty sure he meant this string set-up and not the same set. The Pure Strike hasn't been around that long.

And now I just remembered I have two Prince Graphite IIs with very old sets of Pro-Blend. Maybe I should follow your advice... :)
