What type of player do you enjoy beating most? :)

Numero Uno

Semi-Pro
i like playing against pushers and constructing point... im type of player who always believes he can win :) even if i played against djokovic i think i would believe that i can win xD

I love playing against pushers/retrievers who can't hurt me with power. It's gratifying to beat someone with patient, controlled attacking tennis.

So-called attackers, who aren't able to attack properly (like "I attack every ball that comes to my side of the net") and thus doing a lot of unforced errors.

It's so enjoyable to win a point by being patient, athletic, and being the guy that always makes you hit one more time to earn the point. I'm winning confidence as they're losing theirs. (good volley ? I'll still be there to try to lob, be prepared).

The more they're bragging about how good they play tennis (No matter if I loose, I'm not a pushing moron, I'm an attacker ! Gracious Serve&Volleyer ! I play tennis in the most noble form, like it should be played) the more I'm delighted to "push" the ball high upon the net, close to the baseline with huge topspin.

Mean players... The kind that don't say "hi" when you first meet... Have not met many but I can recall every single win... What a feeling. I play my best against them, making it my mission to beat them as if it would teach them proper manners :D

Wannabe-s who show up with their swagger and belittle you with their looks and their voice tone because you don't have the latest apparel and racquet model and you look older until you beat the x#@$ out of them and they go silent for a while and then start talking to you in respectful manner.

Those who struggle in handling or reading different kinds of spin. It's fun to go for maximum spin on each shot, and alter the spin from slice to topspin unpredictably and see the opponent struggling. :p

I like to beat the above kind of guy!

GUYS WHO HIT OUT !!!!

Playing a push is dull and boring and utterly miserable. That is why you have to be in good shape, always.

I like playing guys that are very moderate at everything. Groundstrokes with a little bit of pace and spin and placement that move you but won't put you on the run. In these kinds of matches, they are passive enough so that I can dictate, but they still give you a little bit of something to work with. Also, typically these kinds of people aren't embarrassing to lose a game to like a pusher.

Usually the teens. They either talk to u in respectful manner or just avoids you like a sore loser

Cheats - no doubt. Or shall we say 'dubious callers'.. Usually older dudes who call EVERYTHING out. You never get a serve that's close or a shot near the baseline against them.. Also dudes who don't know how to warmup and try to hit winners in the warmups. Usually these guys are one and the same..

I try not to get gratification beating a certain style of tennis, because I dont want to limit myself by finding certain styles annoying. To be honest, I want to be able to push, hack, and ball blast my way to victory without worrying that Im playing a way I despise.

But the type of player I like to beat the most are players who beat me many times in the past. Or arrogant players,

I love to beat humble players who are the jealous kind. I love to pound them into the ground and giggle while they run back and forth chasing my winners in vain and trying to hide their despair, saying it's just a game.

On the other hand I have great respect for confident, talented players who put their heart and mind into it, and win or lose, I enjoy playing them.

Arrogant players who think they are better than me because they hit the ball harder.
and cheats!

Players who over analyze both my game and their game. Who try to label me based on what "type" of style they believe I have. Know it alls, snobs and braggarts!!! Too serious, forgot 2 have fun types.

Trash Talkers. In it to win it types. Macho macho men.
I love love LOVE playing this type of player. I like seeing them go off the deep end whilst my exterior shows nothing, no emotion, no screaming and shouting (I may be on the inside!). As an Englishman playing in France I find this very easy. At first it was a shock how volatile they generally are, but now I use it to my advantage. And take tremendous pleasure doing so....... I know, mean BUT satisfying. Even if they win - rarely as they self destruct- they're left befuddled. It's a win win! :)

i hate playing cheaters, when I do I change my game up a bit

They can't call the ball out if it's not near the line

Hit short slices and drop shots randomly to bring them to net, and beam every shot I can at their stomach

If you're cheating im going to put you in my line of fire.

These types of players when together in doubles make it much easier for me to do this.

If they don't hit a strong serve at me, I'm running around it and crushing a forehand at the net player

I get an easy shot inside the court? Crush it at the closest net player

I enjoy classy tennis much more, but cross me and you will walk off the court...win or lose...with more bruises than fingers

Player whom I beat 6,0 last time tell me he's going to beat me this time, he was just not playing seriously the last time. Beat him 6,1.

When I win a match I enjoy it more if it was really close! I like to beat the arrogant people who think they know everything about the game as well. If I had to pick a style though... I'd have to say I like beating other all court players. Its so fun to have to continually change your tactics and strategies in order to solve each new problem as the match goes on.
