What was the bigger challenge for Nadal? Federer on Indoor HC or Davydenko on any HC?

I would like to see Davey's record vs big 3 in slams. He would be crushed by Djokovic as well. Not good to overrate nadal's struggles vs him because that all happened during nadal's tough period and not in slams afaik.
