What would be a fair asking price for gamma 6004 2-point mount?

Ive finally resigned myself to the fact that i’ll never play tennis again so im going to try and sell my gamma 6004. What would be a fair price to ask? When i searched, i only found the 6-point for $2100 and it’s always out of stock. (Mine is the 2-point mounting system). The crank has never been used since i always used it with the WISE. So what do ya’ll think is fair? Also, would selling it here on talk tennis be safe?or should i put it on the bay? Ive never sold anything this expensive before. I realize shipping is going to be very expensive (probably $200+). Thnk u for ur input.

@pmata814,

I presume that your 6004 has the "Switch-Action Cam-Lock" base clamps (rather than the newer "Auto-release" [i.e. gravity-release] base clamps that now come on the 6004).
Would that be correct?

Does yours have the gear/cog turntable brake... or the older "screw" type turntable lock?
Also, exactly which string clamps does yours have (since that varies, in accordance with the time period it was sold)?

Clamp bases are not gravity release, they are spring assisted. I thinkg the brake is the gear brake. And im not sure what type the clamps are. Ive added pictures here if u wouldnr mind taking a look? Thx so much for ur help!

I’m guessing $1200 - $1500 with shipping to the right person. Unfortunately most people like 6 pt. Personally, I like the Gamma 2 pt and some don’t realize how stable it is until actually using one.

Thx for the reply. Yes. I prefer the 2 point kuz i never had to worry about blocked holes. And it is super solid. Owned it for years and never had any issues of frames cracking or anything like that.

I'm also (mostly) a fan of the Gamma 2-point mounts. My 5800 ELS had a "2-point." My only gripes were that the lockdown mechanism could skip/hop and pop out the hold down shaft if you hold down the post* firmly during setup. I had that habit from working on a NEOS for several years. Once I let the hold down do its thing, I didn't have the problem again*. Also had to make some spacer adapters with leather belt scraps for very thin throated frames (at the time it was the babolat aero series frames). The machine didn't come with spacers like the NEOS had,* so you could crack throat bridges if you weren't careful (see holding the shaft note above).

Pricing above seems more or less fair, does it include the WISE? I assume no.

*per my foggy recollection
