What would it take for a new player NOT to enter the GOAT debate in the next couple decades?

We have already started to anoint several players as potential GOATs on the basis of winning a few slams or less.
What would it take not to allow a player to enter the GOAT debate?

No current player is actually in the GOAT debate for a long, long time, if at all.
Yes, a group of people keep saying Alcaraz is going to be the next GOAT and it is not true if he does not find a way to stay as uninjured as he is. While a bunch of people say he is only going to win one of the big slams ever a single USA open. I think neither personally, and he will win at least another hard court Slam or possibly something else.

You need to be very talented too. You can be as fit as you want but without the racquet skill or all the shots it’s meaningless.
Health and talent is the bare minimum start. Many players have had both and some currently do.

To win more than 12 slams you are looking at adding luck, maturity, coaching, work ethic, and of course height.

Yeah. Only him. Currently no one else has a chance of 20+ slams. It only Alcaraz with a chance due to his fast start, talent, fitness and mentality. That said I’m still not sure he will either. Alcaraz or bust though until we see if anyone else comes.
Yes because no other multi slam winner is there currently.
GOAT should anyway be hardest task there is so of course it will take many attempts.
Roger got super chance at GOAThood post Pete Sampras but Roger had to go with hardships later in life. The target was 14.

Fed made it. Held it for 10 years.

Yes I am saying its pretty hard to get a next GOAT in 2/3 years. Fed came to scene immediately post Sampras. It may be same with Alcaraz over Nole or maybe it will take time.
It will not happen anyways.

However, some believe 2 CYGS would make him that. Not me, but some. So he could reach that in under 5 if he really is as great as some say and Sinner continues to flail.
