I'm often amused by people who casually say, "We've only got one life" or "You're only here once".

How do they know? Try telling that to a baby who has died at birth and probably didn't even know it had been alive, "Hey that was your once chance of life".

I'm not so sure!

So what do you tell babies who have just died? "Don't worry, pal, you'll be back soon for your second life"?

Well, of course you don't need to take me literally. I merely question the casual attitude of those who think we are only live once and wonder how they justify that belief when some have hardly been allowed to live at all.
