Whats Nishikori like 2-5000 vs. the Top guys?

Nishikori has the best deciding set record in history. His 5 set record too is probably very good. He won 3 five set matches this tournament. Yet he injures himself after going down 6-1 4-1 to Djokovic and can no longer compete. I don't buy it.

How often does he get injured in the 5th set of a match vs some random opponent when he hasn't been getting stomped?

Agut should mentor him...the guy went up 4-2 vs Tsits in the third despite running on fumes after Muzziah, Millman and Cilic took him to five and the Tsits match was daytime warm. Glass just plain quit from the stress of facing Joe Kovic.

For comparison sake, I looked at another one-Slam finalist, consistent Top 10 player - Tsonga. He has 6 wins over Fed (6-12; 33%), 6 over Djoker (6-17, 26%), and 4 over Nadal (4-10, 28%).

This is actually what I kind of expect out of this level difference of players - the lower level player winning a quarter (25%) of the matches or slightly more.

The level of Slam finalists has varied incredivly wildly over the last few years. I think is like 4th of the non Big 3 guys vs the Big 3 where now it's Thiem>Murray>Del Potro > Tsonga and with Thiems record beying inflated to hell due to age.
