What's the Raquet for Heavier Strokes

I've been looking at a lot of raquets recently to replace my LM Radical MP. I feel that I do not get enough pace on the ball. What would be a good raquet to achieve what I want? I've looked into the Prestige line and also the Radical Tour and some Wilson raquets. What would you recommend? I tried the AeroDrive Pro, but I didn't really like the feel of the raquet. Any suggestions are welcomed.

why not just add some weight to your current racquet first...a heavy racquet is what you need to hit a heavy ball...

yeah adding weight is the way to go if you still like the way the racquet feels, it's way cheaper and does the job.

Agreed. Try some heavier racquets with heavier swingweights. They will hit heavier balls assuming you still still swing them fairly fast. Stiffer racquets will also give you more power but sometimes with a loss of some control.

A racquet on the lighter side that I've had success hitting the ball harder than the LMP MP with is the Slazenger Pro X-1. I believe its specs are somewhat similar to that of the LM Prestige MP or at least in the same ball park.

Thanks for the suggestions. But my LM Radical is kind of beat up (I used to slam raquets), so if you would suggest a new raquet, what would it be. I might buy the same one and add some weights... that is certainly an option.

your next step up would be the LM prestige or the FP prestige midplus versions. i think the FP would play closer to the radical than the LM.

I looked at the FP Prestige, and noticed the Midplus and the Midplus XL. What purpose does the extra .5 inch serve? Is it just for 2-hand backhands, or does it change a lot more than that?

I just played a guy that hits pretty heavy with the lm radical.
I'm sure you can hit heavy if you have the skills. I'm looking for a little help from my raquet.
