What's the ugliest stroke in tennis?

I'd take substance over style any day. Every single player mentioned here is among the best in the world. Including Norrie.

Yeah everyone here knows they are among the best in the world, that's why we are discussing them and not Craig from your local club

This thread is about the aesthetics only which is obvious from the title. Go butt in and be a pretentious clown on some other forum.

Well, Craig's got some pretty strokes for a 3,0. Sorry to intrude here.

With most of the other guys with ugly strikes, I just don’t watch them play. The problem with Medvedev‘s ugly strokes is that he makes it to Slam semis/finals and I am forced to watch his unaesthetic brand of tennis way too often. So, for me it is the one that sticks in the memory.

…Brooksby has no redeeming qualities except that he seems to appeal to the Barstool demo.

His game appeals to fans that appreciate the rare player that thinks about tactics and can and will patiently construct a point.

I didn't watch this match, but the problem I have with this clip is intent. Did Brooksby intent to hit the ballboy, or was it a situation where a young player lost his cool and threw his racquet?

The situation with Djokovic hitting the linesman with the ball at the US Open is a similar situation. It would be outrageous to argue that Djokovic meant to injure the lady, but it was a moment of emotional disconect that I'm sure he regrets.
Incorrect - Djokovic decided that he wanted to hurt an innocent person in order to make himself feel better. He selected her, lined her up and drilled the ball into her throat. Brooksby on the other hand - purely accidental.
