this point between borg and vilas looks like a point against a pusher, with vilas doing most of the pushing since most of his shots landed on the middle of the court whereas borg was going for the corners (but borg played somewhat like a pusher too)

i wouldn't consider that pushing but some posters have a broader definition of pushing than i do. so each can be the judge...

Not that I'm qualified to set levels much above 5.0, but he's clearly got a nice looking game. I'd say 5.5 - 6.0 based on what I've seen of local players.

His footwork is exceptional...really impressive movement. His stoke mechanics are solid, but the backhand looks like it might breakdown if playing against hard flat balls...quick take back but there is a little hitch just before he strikes the ball (I realize I'm nitpicking here). Volley technique is solid...depth seemed a little short to start but improved as the video progressed. Serve/overheads seemed solid...very quick attack on service motion. Serve return also looked great. Unclear on how much variety in game this guy has. Need to see a game or two to judge that.

If you dismiss the obvious sarcasm, most rated him 5.5 to 6.0. Not sure anyone (excepting me) was really nitpicking. Tell us, what NTRP rating do you give him?

Notice where he worked his volleys from- half way to the net, then closed in half again during the volley. Really cut them off early. He did also mix in some 1st volley position work as well.
