Why would any sort of tie be held in Myanmar to begin with? Folks there are poor, the government is still quite repressive, and I doubt they have much for quality facilities. Not to mention that government is very prejudiced against Muslims.

They are mainly Buddhists. But they have denied citizenship to a group of residents, Rohingyans, that have lived there for over 1000 years.
