Possibly, but most people with stubble, at least in my area, are picking cans out of the garbage, not performing in front of millions of people on television.
well I don't know what socal's like, but many guys have facial hair of some sort here, including stubble.
Many movie stars and other performers (including other athletes) sport facial hair. I don't see the big deal.
It's the twisted image that the media started enforcing in the 90's, shaved face chest and legs which is anything but natural, and a lot of people take their ideals from TV.
yeah that definitely was the case. it seems like hair has been making a comeback in recent years with guys like hugh jackman and whatnot. Even guys like brad pitt, johnny depp, and leonardo di caprio do whatever they can to salvage some semblance of facial hair.
A large percentage of the male pros seem to play with a week's worth of stubble. What's the deal? Wake up too late to shave?
why shave? hair on face is manly.
I have no problem with a beard, like Youzhney sports. I just don't understand the scraggly scruff look that guys like Del Potro and Nadal have.

bold guess towards a south californian residentLet me guess. Wuppy is American.
You've obviously never worked in an office where you are expected to shave daily (unless you have a beard).Wuppy but don't you think neatness looks a bit womanly? Neatness isn't a good thing you know....

Yes but you can at least keep it neatly trimmed, not let it grow down your neck into your chest hair.to grow beard you first need to let it grow and in the beginning it is small.
That is all.
Get a grip people...
...NOBODY shaves when the Stanley Cup playoffs are happening
You'll have to start when you are on vacation. You cannot start growing a beard during the work week.to grow beard you first need to let it grow and in the beginning it is small.

You mean you didn't know? :shock:Please tell me you are a woman for caring so much about beards.
That's what I was going to say. But in Andy Murray's case he NEEDS to shave-he's got the ugliest beard I've ever seen.for some i believe its superstition. they enter a tournament and as long as theyre winning they dont shave
my beard grows rather slowly (it takes about 1 1/2 weeks to be as noticable as it is on monaco there i guess) but i like it as a means of not looking the same every day. ill have it grow for a week or so and then shave again. a little facial hair isnt bad on a guys face imo as long as it doesnt look messy. and it really makes for a very different look compared to fully shaved
Umm because they don't want to look like girls maybe? What male wants to have a smooth face like silly little bieber (not even bieber wants that face actually, but he got no choice)?
You mean you didn't know?
How can you, when you are busy posting inanities all day long, trying to equal BP's post-count?I don't bathe either
For a normal distribution, like IQ, the mean and median are the same.BTW, your sig is wrong. If the median IQ was 100, then half the people will be below it.
For a normal distribution, like IQ, the mean and median are the same.
If you really want to get technical, it's not fully half because a certain percentage are exactly at 100. That holds true for both the median and the mean. However, 99.9% of the people reading it won't realize that.
I wanna see Fed with scruff!
Well, that's one way. You could also simplify it and say there are 4 people. Their IQ's are 145, 140, 135, and 100. The average would be 130, so only 25% are below that. It can also work the other way around.
