I like Kirsch PLII 18L. On sale it can be had for $6-8. Cross it with OGSM 17 and you have a quality string job for $4-5. Hard to beat that value/quality.

Big fan of Hyper G, but have recently switched to Isospeed Cream. Get a bit more pop and spin with Hyper G, but for whatever reason, I'm getting excellent control with Cream and it's won me over. The extremely soft feel is a very nice plus, as is the cheap price (especially bulk pricing from TW).
