What's your money shot?

Mine is a hard penetrating flat forehand aimed at the corner of my opponent's backhand.

Whats yours?

Bionic slice

Semi-Pro
better ask my dubs opponents recently after they suffered their worst loss ever. I was in the zone and motivated. No tanking here!!
I would say :
on the run.... cross court heavy low slice.
FH cross court with heavy top and my slice
BH cross court serve return short sharp angle or "the bionic slice."

BH x-court from ad side, or middle court. BH "DTL" on the deuce side. It's an easy shot for me to hit. Natural. Doesnt matter on what ball is coming to me.

A DTL backhand? Ah, I have heard of such a shot but never witnessed it . Certainly not from my side of the net :D

I dont favor my BH at all, but so many people go deep to the BH and follow it in. Then, my money shot is passing them. When I play dubs, I like to play FH side if possible, because I love to do DTL with my returns when they give me a high kicker on the T (to my BH). Everyone tries to poach that and hitting a clean winner DTL is so easy since it's a natural shot. 1HBH = better early than late. Even if the ball jumps hard on me, im still biased to be as early as possible, which means in a big kick, that shot is still in bounds and DTL in the deuce side.

Used to be the topspin lob.

Now it is the angled slice return from just outside the service line. Then I stand there and wait for the server to deal with a low, paceless ball against my partner and me at net.

This takes away the server's time, makes them go for more pace or uncomfortable targets so they double fault, yanks baseline huggers forward, and punishes anyone who dares to come in with poor volley technique. It also tends to trigger frantic conference between the two opponents, which is always fun to watch.

Big serve on the T that usually gets me an ace. Close 2nd is the inside-out forehand to my opponent's backhand.

My best shot is when I step around the second serve in the ad court and hit a forehand inside-in.

My favorite shot is a low, short bouncing ball to my 1-hand backhand that I can crush cross court at a sharp angle. That one rarely comes back when I hit it through the side line of the court.

Two-handed backhand drive. Crosscourt or down the middle. Feels great.

It's my most solid shot, and my favorite shot. Probably because I was lefty and was corrected at a young age before I started playing tennis (at which point I was doing almost everything with my right hand). I really would like a one-hander for aesthetics reasons, but it would be a complete waste of my left arm.

The slap forehand inside in off a kick serve out wide in the ad side.
Presuming you're a righty, lol, that better be a money shot, otherwise you are starting outside the doubles alley if you're opp gets to it... :)

My first serve. I'm 6'5" and 240. I've been told I have a 5.0 level serve. I just toss as high as I can and try to hit flat at the highest toss I can. When it's on, 4.5 level players have trouble with it. No technique. Just born with height and I use it.

I'm in the same boat. 6'4, big flat bombs are my biggest weapon by far. If serve is not going, I usually get trounced in straights.

In terms the shot I use to win most points, my serve. My favourite second serve mix up is the slice up the T on the ad court when people camp near the backhand corner to defend against my kicker.

My forehand return against big flat serves is my second favourite shot. I often redirect the pace for return winners or right at the servers feet to draw weak replies. I dont consider this my top shot because my opponent can simply serve to my backhand to prevent me from hitting this shot as often.

I'm guessing your first serve % is 0.

That made me smile.
No, actually since I have a lot of faith in my second serve I'm not worried about missing my first, so I can go for big first serves or try to spot it on the line. A lot of times I hit my kick second serve as a first serve, using it more and adding variety to my first serve, keeping the opponent even more off balance.

Hard and penetrating (deep) backhand slice. Almost always come in on it when I know I've executed it well. I have a OHBH and this is the shot I like to hit on a high ball.

Well....
Either a no look backhand slice volley from the ad service box into the opposite tramilne on the opponents advantage side, when it comes off woaaaah its great :D
My serve, being 6'4 and having decent technique is very beneficial to my game
Forehand slapped DTL return on the deuce side where i can swing out and smack it

or the good ol tweener ;)
