60-65 stiffness
98-103 headsize
around 3 pts hl.

y you wanna know?

Even balance, or slightly off even just towards headlight...
Not sure right now what that is in Pts headlight or millimetres...
Anywhere from 12-14 ounces depending on me & the racquet.

my question is my best friends, how do you mesure the swingweight? How do you know how many points HL your racquet is? Ivan

I don't know how to measure swingweight, but the balance system is this:

A standard racquet is 27 inches long. The middle point (even balance) is 13.5 inches, so if it balances at 13.5 inches on the scale then it is 0pts head light. Every 1/8 of an inch that the racquet balances towards the head or butt, it is 1 point head heavy or head light; every full inch is 8 points.

thinking about extending an ozone tour to get close to these specs.

Nice longbody! So you play close to stock? I found the stock LB to be a bit unstable and too whippy. I've cut 1/2" of mine and added 10g on 3&9, its now perfect 338g strung and 5 pts HL.

I wouldn't recommend the ozone nor any of those new Prince frames, none of them come close to the feel of the POGs. Just get a few more LBs.:)

For balance, ra7686 explained it pretty well. Here is a simple formula, once you find out the exact balance point on a balance board (which TW sells), substitute the balance point (X) into this equation: (68.6/2 - X) / 0.125 / 2.54 = __ pts HL

Note, 68.6 is the length of a standard racquet (27inches) in cm. So if you have a 27.5" or 28" racquet, just times by 2.54 to get the value in cm.

As for swingweight, you need a Babolat RDC machine or similar, there is no simple way to measure it. I've tried the TW University method but never seemed to get it right.

you have 16 points headlight as an option, i don't think there's such a thing. it only goes up to 15 points

There is almost no limit, theoretically, to how headlight you can make your racquet. If you put enough weight in the butt you could make your frame 96 points headlight if you wanted.

On racquets in the 11-12 ounce range ~3.3 grams of lead added to the butt will make the frame +1 point HL.

wow most of you guys use very HL balances. Why is that? I find that the more lead i put in the head, the more control and power i get. But i really dont understand whats the point of adding weight to the buttcap, besides making it more maneuverable.

Yes, but most people also like to add lead to the buttcap to counter balance the lead in the head, so that they could keep it the same balance as before. Its a really good idea to keep it maneuverable as well as gaining comfort, control and power. HL balance (maneuveability) is especially important for playing doubles.

Balance Point is nothing, if weight is not given.

Well that depends on what you are asking.

Since the title asks "What's Your Preferred Balance Point?", the answer would simply be your preferred balance point. Nothing or something has nothing to do with this thread.

Seems most people here prefer between 5-10 points head light. Even balance or close to even balance is not as popular as I thought. Interesting.
