whatsup with monfils?

    he looks so relaxed with his strokes and his balls float instead of bomb. is it just the camera angle??

    yeah, his shots seem more defensive.. he seems to waiting for roddick to make the error but his shots like it doesn't require much effort but the pace is tremendous

    it fits the pattern of the way Monfils has always been. One match he attacks and mixes it up and plays unreal. The next he lollygags at the baseline appearing disinterested

    I read somewhere that tsonga and monfils would practice for hours when they were younger, to imitate a rods serve. I suppose there is a bit of resemblance.

    Agree, as I hinted at yesterday, one great match doesn't make a great player, it's the consistency that does.
