i want to buy a wilson ncode 6.1 95. i was thinking that if i waited a couple of months, i could buy them after Wilson releases an "updated" frame. Does Wilson generally update their racquets once a year? and when they do this, what time of year does it normally come?

The replacements for the n6.1s are comming out on January 20th. Good luck with the discounted purchase!

New racquets don't affect the price of the ones they are replacing for atleast about 6-12 months. Better suck it up and get those racquets now! Maybe as a Christmas present?

local shops might go lower on the pricing if a new line of rackets come out because they have limited space. as for online shops, the racket prices won't go down until the racket is discontinued

What about the whole M-Fil and Aerogel situation?? The M-Fils are like $90.

Frames usually aren't ever updated annually. Maybe every three years or some new technology is available? That depends, but most companies will release their new stuff in mid January and will debut it at the Australian Open (Jan. 15th).

M-Fils are a totally separate issue, nothing to do w/the Aerogels. Their price was reduced due to changes in the US distribution rights.
