When did Fedal Unity Begin?

I don't think Sineraz can have as vicious a rivalry as Fedal because Fed dominated tennis and Nadal dominated Fed. It was unique thing. Thankfully far before rise of social media. Died by 2010 when Nadal became too complete winning 3/4.
What if Sinner starts dominating tennis and Alcaraz continues to dominate Sinner?

We say "dominated" but the most painful wins over Fed were Wimbledon 2008 and AO2009

Those were 5 set matches

he was totally odd man in tennis

See @MichaelNadal John Cena is the correct comparison, not Shawn Michaels

Cena is odd man out every time.

1. An observation can be made that more often than not Sinner would stop calling Alcaraz a "friend" whenever he loses.
2. Almost never congratulates/likes Alcaraz' stuff/victories which isn't the case the other way round.
3. His realising who his friends were post scandal ala passive aggressive comments.
4. An actual rumor that did go around stating Sinner has jealousy issues particularly around the channel slam time.

Twitter Alcaraz fans have been begging Carlos to have some self respect lmao.

I am not a fan of this forced Janlitos PR friendship either.
So many mental flashes in just one comment.

As a Federer and Nadal fan, Wimbledon 2008-AO 2009.

For the more glory-hunting side of the fandom, that would be mid-late 2022, when Nadal got the slam lead, with the Fed retirement an unholy alliance was forged against Djoko who was encroaching on the slam race.

John Cena is entertaining. Haven't you ever watched his movies?
Cena himself is a wrestling great caged by that Super Cena gimmick. Dude ran circles around the greatest on mic, DJ, during that infamous 2012 feud.

Sure I hated it back then particularly because of how washed Rock seemed to be but greatness is greatness

And Germany brought Russia and France Together as well. After Napoleon, no one would think it was possible.
Germany brought Britain and France together. That is the most unbelievable feat.
Us Brits fought our @$$€$ off to keep Germans at bay, stopped them from taking over the entire Europe & even tried to stop them in France; but the Frenchmen surrendered faster than the speed of light & we were forced to get our men out through Dunkirk, because it'd have been suicidal and oxymoron to fight for a nation's sovereignty whose own people were afraid of war.

But you had a sea in between and huge Navy.

You have to understand that French surrender was strategic. France was playing the long game and knew it would lead to Germany losing WW2 for the following reasons:

1. Lulling Hitler into a false sense of confidence and attacking Russia since the Western Front appeared clear.
2. Baiting Italy to enter the war. The Italians were so inept that they hurt Germany more than helped them as an ally.
3. Making America desperate enough to start the Super Soldier Program, which led to the creation of Captain America.

Well, if Hitler hadn't attacked USSR, Stalin would've attacked his borders for sure. It was an inevitable war between two polar opposite ideologies right at each other's borders.

Yes, Italy hurt Germany more than they helped them, but with Mussolini's ideological leanings matching those with Hitler & both wanting us Brits out of the Gulf & North Africa, it was inevitable that they'd have joined at some point.

And 3rd point, lol you had me in the first half!!

The English channel at its narrowest is just 30kms wide, not a big deal for those massive German forces.
It was indeed our Royal Navy, and most importantly, the willpower of our citizens which kept us from being captured by the third Reich.
Your PM gave away Czechoslovakia and emboldened Hitler so in a way, you had to redeem yourselves.

Not just Czechoslovakia, but he also let Denmark & Norway slip away as well.
Chamberlain was a disgust, and if not for Churchill to have replaced him, we'd have lost as well.

When do you think Sinner and Alcaraz fans will unite?
Well, for a scenario like that they would need to HAVE fans like the Fedal fans in the first place. I still think most who now support Alcaraz and/or Sinner were first and foremost Big 3 fans.

And don't get me wrong, they do have some exclusive fans, but it's very far away from what could be called a "mass movement" in some way, even if only on the Internet. For Fedal that definitely existed.

To think that in the midst of rivalry a friendship relationship can be established is absolutely hypocritical reasoning.
One sees the rival and vice versa as an enemy to be defeated sportingly speaking, which is why it is impossible to build a healthy friendship.
Not to be confused with respect, which for example has never been lacking between Sinner and Alcaraz.

Even when I read that after defeats Sinner doesn't usually congratulate Alcaraz, apart from the fact that I would like to understand;

1) What is this bizarre theory based on.
Don't you shake his hand at the end of the match?
Doesn't he let any sappy words shine through in the post-match press conference?
Don't you like Alcaraz's victories?

2) In addition to the dynamics in the public domain, is the person making certain allegations (and in this case the usual forum hater) aware of what happens behind the scenes between the two?
For example, is he in possession of Sinner's Instagram account or did he intercept his smartphone to exclude that the Italian, after Alcaraz's triumphs, does not congratulate him via private message?

It's a bad thing to live your surrounding world with paranoia.
