When did usta records started being public?

I recall my first tournament I ever entered. Back in the late 80s, they had Open, A, B, and C. These divisions would later get replaced by 5.0, 4.5, 4.0, and 3.5 respectively, right around that time.

Then throughout the 90s, I recall playing adult ntrp tourneys, but I wasn’t sure what was going on with usta leagues.

I played my first usta league matches in 2001. But I can’t find any record of those matches on tennislink.

It seems my first tennislink record starts in 2003.

Is this when tennislink started?

Wow. Mike Lee was ranked ahead of Brian Baker & Jan-Michael Gambill? Wasn't his older brother ranked in the top 5 at one point?
Mike was my dubs partner in my pre usta hacker days. I actually hit some balls with him about 4-5 years ago.

Is this from around late Eighties? There is a coach at my club called Greg Johnson who is in his mid-fifties and I think he grew up in the PNW. Wonder if he was the kid ranked #1 in under 18 Singles?

I think probably different guy. The GJ who was #1 in 18s in PNW was my high school teammate. He was sick of tennis by the time he graduated from high school, but used his tennis resume to help him get into Stanford and leverage that into an MD. He would be 49 now.

How is he doing? Is he still in the PNW? Still playing tennis?
I don’t think he plays tennis (but he still flashed some skillz when I dragged him back on court), he still has Prince morph beams from college. I ran into him at his kid’s indoor soccer game.
