Venus & Federer since Wimby 03.

The way he dominated Roddick in the SF was amazing, one of the best performances from him IMO.

Agassi- The mullet was so unconventional, and as a young kid who loved tennis i thought he was the coolest player on tour. In his early years everybody was loving his FH, but i personally thought it was backhand that set him apart from the rest.

I actually disliked Federer until he lost to Rafa in 08 Wimby. When i watched that match, my heart went to Federer, and i was happy to see him win USO that year.

Honorary mentions go to Monfils, Warwinka, and the new Roddick. The Djoker's impressions made me enjoy watching him, now if only he could play as well.

Nadal. Saw him in Miami in 2004 where he, a 17-year old teenager, beat Federer.

Before that - Safin: DC match vs Courier in 1998.

I started watching tennis around the mid-80s with my dad. Though I was just a kid I soon had a favorite in Ivan Lendl and Boris Becker. Hasn't changed, although some have been added to my list. They have been added as I watched throughout the years.

I guess it surprises me when I read some people actually just started watching tennis in 2004 or 5 although they are near to or are adults. I've loved the game so long and its been a part of my personal time and usually my sole television viewing time, its hard to imagine some never appreciated it. Without exception, it is the sole thing in my life (besides basic functions ha!) that I have followed devotedly since a child until now, and will continue into the future with.

Started watching tennis from 1987: Favorite players were Becker and Steffi.

I supported Agassi from 1999 onwards till 2003 Wimbledon. After that it's all Roger Federer.

Rafa:Monte Carlo Masters 2003 when baby Rafa straight setted French Open 2002 champ Albert Costa.

Nalbandian:USO 2002(shame that he badly choked against Roddick in the SF).

When I was a ball boy for Mcenroe as a kid. Thought he was the coolest thing ever. In fact I still do.

I must say, the results of the poll so far are very interesting.

Roddick: US open 2003. This is around the time where I actually started following tennis. Cool funky service motion and american.

Federer: TMC Houston 2003. 1st saw him at Wimbledon but just thought he was weird with the ponytail. Just in this tournament his down the line backhand was just sick. For awhile I thought it was his superior stroke. Too bad he don't really hit those anymore.

Coria - 2004 clay season. Everything just seem to flow for him. Not your most powerful but definitely very crafty and masterful with the drop shot. Actually got to meet him in person. A shame for his career.

boris Becker- Had the same haircolour as me=) almost liked him more than Edberg. Impressive that he kept such a high level for so long and matched Pete in his prime, my fav player up until he retired than Agassi took over.

Enqvist- Was a ballboy at the DC 1997, he is such a nice guy and always said hello to us ballboys and asked how we were, he even lifted me upside down while playing minitennis:) Loved his powergame, always had a thing for big hitters(not the serve)

Agassi- After the comeback I started following him, liked his clothes and the way he hit the crap out of the ball, after the Roland Garros win I became a huge fan.

Joachim Johansson- Good Looking, popular in sweden, brutal game! I played minitennis with him a little at the davis cup 1997, he was there practicing as an upcoming juniour with thomas hogstedt(Haas Coach today)

The man Roger Federer.- Hated him when he was beating Agassi all the time but after the USO final 2005 I was a fan, could not hate a man playing tennis like m Jordan plays basketball!
Whent to watch him live in NY the year after and started playing tennis again after that. Love everything about him.

Nadal- Over the past few months, he seems to be the only guy stepping up to Fed at the Slams. Too bad when I started becoming a fan he lost at the French, couldn't defend Wimbledon and lost his number one ranking....maybe I shouldn't cheer for him...:(

Hewitt: 2000, saw him play and followed him since
Stan Wawrinka: This year's davis cup and his match against nadal at miami or indian wells
Dimitrov: match against nadal
Querry: match against young at kalamazoo
james blake: got to hit with him at my club and his mom taught me tennis
