Because of my Hewitt fanboyness

Hewitt vs Nalbaldian 2011 AO
Hewitt vs Baghdatis 2008 AO
Hewitt vs Roddick 2005 AO
Hewitt vs Federer 2004 Masters

Best match though would have been 2003 Davis Cup semi vs Fed, both had god modes, unfortunately at different moments

But Safin vs Fed 05 is the best game I've watched in a while.

Djokovic Fed USO SF 2010, 2011.
Djokovic DelPotro W SF 2013.
Djokovic Murray AO SF 2012
Djokovic Wawrinka AO 2013

Borg McEnroe W F 1980
USO 2010??? Both played horrible the entire match. It is just that Federer played even worse. Sets 2 and 4 were pathetic from him and Djokovic did not do anything special

Nadal vs Djokovic USO 2011 Final 3rd set. The match as a whole was underwhelming, but in that 3rd set both players were in god-mode.

Greatest match of all time Federer vs Nadal Wimbledon final when Nadal dethrone Federer

"Greatest match of all time"? More like the MOST "overrated/over-hyped and sensationalized match of all time".

I guess Federer's "God Mode" involves slicing backhand after backhand into the net off 2nd serves? His level was abysmal, and he played a shocker of a match barring a couple of clutch points in the 3rd and 4th sets.

Wimbledon 2007 was the closest either of them came to "God Mode" on grass, and even then Federer wasn't exactly playing at his "peak".

Rome 2006 is the ONLY true "God-Mode" encounter between the two.

I pretty much agree. The Wimbledon '08 final wasn't even close to "God Mode" v. "God Mode". The drama of it far outweighs the quality. The '07 was superior for both (This has little do with Federer ending up the victor. Many of the "God Mode" matches I know of with Federer end up with him as the loser (e.g., Safin AO '05, Gonzalez Shanghai '07, Nalbandian AO '03)).

Federer vs Nadal Hamburg '07 is another more "God Mode" match. Sure, Federer bagels Nadal, but Nadal still was playing at peak level.

I would argue 2004 wimbledon not 2009. Federer's shanks were far too many. It was mental strength (surprisingly) and serve that was keeping him in that match.

I agree. I see that as a choke by Andy than a clean Fed win. It is one of those sad ending legendary matches. A guy giving all he got one last time but didn't make it.

Sampras vs Becker 1996 Masters Cup Final. Two of the best indoor players playing god-mode tennis.

Federer vs Nadal 2008 Wimbledon Final. Highest quality match between these two by far.(This match is not overrated at all)

Hard to pick Federer since he won almost all of his matches during his streak form 05-07 so I would go with the Safin/Fed AO match and the Rome 2006 final with Nadal.

But deep down how can you not see this is just ridiculous? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EQ7kyUknYjM

It is funny because that point sums up their rivalry. Fed has terrible shot selection against Nadal and it has caused his demise many times.

Most entertaining to me of all time barring Fed's collapse in the 5th.

Younger kids today would have a hard time understanding that match. Even Agassi is rushing the net. Points are over before any 3 shot set up can be done. Almost no rally or whatsoever.

And one of the guys is playing with a 85 mid tiny head with no poly strings! haha :)

Though they are also in top form here in 1995 at Indian Wells, and most of the match is played from the baseline. A lot of really good rallies.

Nope, AO 2012 also, you can see Nadal how relieved he feels to win in 4 sets when it clearly could have gone to 5 sets. Federer was playing incredible, Nadal played the important points better, as usual.

Add to the list: Federer vs Tsonga Wimbledon 2011.

Federer said he was playing great but couldn't do anything in the last 3 sets, Tsonga was serving like a machine, unbreakable. Probably the best match of Tsonga along with AO 2008 SF.

Djokovic was not in God mode at all mate, i remember in the fifth set we had to wait until 6/6 to see a forehand winner from him

It had to be God Mode Djokovic even if it was in defense primarily in that match, to take it away from Wawrinka, the way Stan played that match. The level was insanely high.

You have to be kidding me? After saying that Wawrinka V Djokovic wasn't God Mode V God Mode? Sorry, but the AO 2012 semi was terrible. That was not God Mode Federer, nor was it Nadal for that matter. Their AO final of 09 was much better, and even that had one low level set, which diminished the overall quality.
