Wawrinka V Djokovic RG 2014 - Djokovic God Moding all year, running into God Mode Wawrinka.
What about the 2015 Wimbledon semifinals between Federer and Murray? No one was beating those 2 that day.
Surprised nobody said Suresh v Cheetah.
Lololol
Sampras would have handled both players in straights.
No! Considering what Djokovic went on to do later that year and the fact that he had beaten Rafa twice in a row on clay prior to the French, it's inconceivable to think Djokovic was playing anywhere close to his best in that semi final.2011 French Open Semi-Final: Federer v Djokovic
Yes, but the way it ended was so anti-climactic. Didn't it end 6-2 in the final set to Djokovic? What a match!
Djokovic vs Nadal 2011. Both guys at their peak, some great matches. U.S. Open and Rome stand out.
Fed vs Nadal Wimbledon 2007. 2008 was great but Roger was not peak level. 2007 was better in my opinion, the rallies were insane.
Wawrinka vs Djoker 2013 AO- Stan played like I have never seen him before. I don't actually think it was peak Djoko for the whole match, but he produced amazing stuff when it mattered. Kickstarted Stan getting to the next level in his career too, so it's extra special for me.
Looool. I love how you worded that. Tough luck Djokovic.Wawrinka V Djokovic RG 2014 - Djokovic God Moding all year, running into God Mode Wawrinka.
Serena and Venus have never held up a trophy without first thanking "Jehovah". Or is women's tennis not part of the sport to you?Ironic we have thread mentioning God in a sport where almost all the players never acknowledge him.
Wawrinka and Gasquet at Roland Garros in 2013. Serena and Dementieva at Wimbledon in 2009, Venus and Sharapova at Wimbledon in 2005 (with the sound off)
Sorry but this trumps all. Behold what attacking tennis is all about:
Part 1
Part 2
Part 3
Inconcievable for you, perhaps. :lol:No! Considering what Djokovic went on to do later that year and the fact that he had beaten Rafa twice in a row on clay prior to the French, it's inconceivable to think Djokovic was playing anywhere close to his best in that semi final.

So you did. My bad. Apologies. I think you're right, most players don't thank God. Maybe they don't believe in him. Don't see anything wrong with that. That's why I said "almost all". Do any European players ever thank God for anything?
Inconcievable for you, perhaps.
You're entitled to your opinion, but it's not one that's commonly held.If you think Djokovic was playing his best after over 5 full days off the only thing inconceivable is this statement.
You're entitled to your opinion, but it's not one that's commonly held.
Outside of Novak's other fanbois, you won't find many who agree with you.
Actually watching the match will reveal why this is.
If he couldn't shake that off after a set or two at most, he had no business being in that match in the first place.Well I have killer Cahill on my side who said fed played a great match but djokovic momentum was broken and went into the match cold. Just this past french during the nadal match. Nothing Fan boy about that. I understand anything against fed being perfect is considered fan boy around here.
Possibly.Cahill might be chico. This is an outrage and an scandal!
Wawrinka V Djokovic RG 2014 - Djokovic God Moding all year, running into God Mode Wawrinka.
The fourth set tiebreak is my favourite ever. One of my favorite all time God Mode V God Mode match is Nadal V Verdasco AO 09. Both were in the form of their life, and to me, this was the best match either has played on a HC, purely because both were in God Mode and it went right down to the final point
All players will try to play in God mode, unless they are injured or tired.
Djokovic is playing crap here, what a troll
Nadal is doing so badly that all you have left is too troll Djoko fans. It's tragic. Just
like you going into the beat Djokovic celebration thread and posting silly gifs that aren't related to his celebrations. Or complaining about his celebrations when Nadal is far more obnoxious than anyone in that respect but you celebrate that etc, calling him ultron.
To dislike a player solely because they are a threat to their fave and to be so biased and hypocritical and have no objectivity is so childish. Djokovic was not at his best in the FO final. That's a fact. Was he playing badly? No. But after the first set he was exceptionally passive. But obviously you have to rely on my man Stan since Djokovic absolutely embarrassed Nadal. That's why you are trying to argue that Novak was peak.
Man, you'll say anything to avoid staying on topic and admitting Stan laid a beatdown on peak Ultron. It's tennis boo bear, it happens I know the feeling from after the 2014 AO, thinking you have a slam final on lock, it will pass
Hilarious that you claim 11 was peak Rafa... You are such an unabashed Novak fanboy.
That Nadal vs. Coria 05 one was awesome too.Nadal V Davydenko Rome 2007
Great God Mode match! Just shows how tough a match up Davydenko was for Nadal, even at the height of Nadal's powers on clay.
Whoa whoa whoa...stop fighting guys!
This is about appreciating and enjoy some God Mode clashes, irrespective of who played, and who won. Just some fantastic tennis.
No one was more delighted than me that Stan won. My problem is butthurt Nadal fans like you pretending you wanted Stan to win when really all you wanted was Djokovic to lose. You haven't helped your cause with this immature reply. Boo bear? Haha...
Didn't you say you were almost 30????
I've liked Stan since 2013, so you can have several seats with your lack of information (and FO title)
Sampras vs Becker at the YEC in 1996 been mentioned yet?
Hewitt Nalbandian 2005 AO, hard to gather highlights though.
Hewitt Baggy at the AO was also great.
Otherwise Safin-Agassi had some superb battles
