When is Roddick commentating at Wimbledon?

Apologies if this has been covered somewhere else, but I haven't heard Roddick in the commentary booth yet; Anybody have any info? Is the plan to have him there for the final stages? I was looking forward to his insights.

I've been wondering as well. Speaks a lot of sense so would be good to get him on at least for the final.

I thought he was going to be on the BBC to replace Becker's position. He's not been on American TV at all yet.

Roddick. Please commentate on Federer's 8th Wimbledon title.

Thank you.

He's been commentating with the BBC over the last few days, and what a breath of fresh air he is. Informative, amusing, engaging - NOT self obsessed like you know who, another US commentator - and goes into more detail too.

Excellent commentator IMO.

Absolutely! I thouroughly enjoyed his commentary. Time for the Beep to pull the trigger and kick Johnny Mac's butt, as he's getting more tiresome with every day.

Some of the match videos (streaming and replay) online at ESPN3 are broadcasts from the BBC. The Federer-Murray match is one of these. I think that the primary commentator on this match might be Andrew Castle. About 12 minutes into the video replay on ESPN3, Andrew is joined by Andy Roddick and Tim Henman, providing analysis and additional insight.

Andy has been a sports analyst on Fox Sports Live (on the Fox Sports 1 channel) for some 2 years now. I don't have access to this channel but, from what I understand, he is primarily doing sports other than tennis.

I heard Roddick for the first time during the Federer vs Murray match and I thought he did a good job.Quite succinct and had good insight.Doesn't indulge in hyperbole like so many others who we've been forced to endure in the past which is a welcome relief.

I never could stand Roddick as a player, but he's a really good commentator. He's opinionated, articulate, funny and gives great insight into what the guys are like in the locker room. American viewers can listen to Andy's commentary by going to ESPN3 and watching the match stream there, they give the BCC feed. Roddick is paired with the dreadful Andrew Castle and the pretty good Tim Henman.

I like Roddick way more than J-Mac in the booth.
