When will Andy Murray beat one of The Big Three again?

With Murray's match with Djokovic coming up in the '15 IW semifinals, I checked to see when his last win against The Big Three was.

Djokovic: Lost 5 straight, last win was '13 Wimbledon (Djokovic leads H2H 16-8)
Federer: Lost 3 straight, last win was '13 Australian Open (Federer leads H2H 12-11)
Nadal: Lost 2 straight, last win was '12 Miami (Nadal leads H2H 15-5)

Time to break this streak Murray.

Murray in 2014 become a pigeon of the top 3, 2014 wasn't a great year in his career but it was clear that he didn't have the mental strength to beat the best..yes you could say he had a back problem....if that was the case why did he come back so early?

Murray's last win over Nadal was actually 2011 Tokyo iirc, Miami was a walkover technically speaking.
But I think he will definitely beat at least one of them this year - maybe Nadal first seeing as he's not in good form anyway.

Wow he hasn't beaten Roger or Rafa in +/- 2 years and his last win over Novak was a major final beat down! Weirdness

Actually, his last win over Nadal was in Abu Dhabi in January! (Yeah, yeah, it was only an exho)!

2012 Miami was a walkover. His last actual tour level win against Nadal was at 2011 Tokyo!

Probably tomorrow. Feel like Nole will be undercooked after the Tomic withdrawal.

Shhhhh!!!!! haha A walkover is a win in my book. The other player was not fit enough to play so that loss is on him.

But he still hasn't showed he can beat him, wich must have been the point of this thread with that question?

I mean, if Rafa could get to Andy right now Andy would win....

Hasn't Murray already beaten a recovering Nadal at least once recently?

He beat him in straights (including a second set bagel) in the semi-finals of Abu Dhabi at the beginning of the year. However, Abu Dhabi is an exhibition tournament and so doesn't count in the official ATP records.

Murray's 10 matches losing streak against Big 3 could be deceiving statistics. We all know, he was not that bad even in comeback year. He's simply unlucky for not able to break it so far. Murrray's form in last 6 months especially tournaments like USO, Paris, AO and 3 titles run post USO was spectacular. He could have beaten Nadal in most of the tournaments in second half and Federer (AO), if he had chance meeting them in my view. While against consistent Djokovic he simply has no answers these days. This is mostly because, Djokovic has regained mental edge against Murray with Becker on his side and noticeable improvements in some aspects of the game like serve, slice, volleys are paying dividends.

I think he will break losing streak if faces Nadal in Miami. If he doesn't get match with Nadal, then he will have to wait till Wimbledon for getting another realistic chance.

I would like to see Murral during the clay season.

Minor point but he should have beaten Djokovic in Shanghai.

5 MPs!!!

Probably their best non-slam encounter too, insane quality of tennis.
I know he should have beaten him. That was probably the match that completely turned the rivalry in Djokovic's favor

What's worse, is that Murray is mostly getting demolished by them. At least in the past even though he lost he used to be competitive. And everybody gave him chances of scoring some victories anywahere outside of clay over anyone of them.

But now he is hardly competitve anymore.

And he has turned into Djokovic's personal punching bag. In years prior I am sure even the die hard Djokovic fans used to be a bit scared (for lack of a better word) of a potential Murray match. (especially the 2012 version)

Surely has a chance in Miami, no?
A Nadal/Murray match in Miami is probably his 2nd best chance.

I think Queens would be his best chance though.

-He has won it 3 times.
-Its the Wimbledon warm up so its his most motivated period of the year.
-Grass court.
-home crowd support.

In all fairness he was competitive in the first 2 sets of the AO final where he almost went up 2 sets and a break before mentally folding. That was only 2 months ago but the IW semi was indeed a setback as Murray wasn't able to create any chances at all for himself in that match!

Up to and including 2013 Wimbledon, Murray was a real threat to Djokovic at all the big events bar those on clay. Since the surgery, however, he doesn't yet seem to have re-discovered that winning touch he used to have against him. Since then, Djokovic seems to have moved on with his game whilst Murray is still struggling to find his!
